This perfume is right up my alley. The original’s standout pistachio note is here, with a gourmet touch and a bit of richness. The cinnamon, which can sometimes feel heavy and tiring, doesn’t bother me here thanks to its incredible performance. A leather softened by vanilla is also a key part of the scent. The other notes are less noticeable as it evolves. The saffron, which can sometimes smell harsh, helps with that sense of weight I mentioned, along with the leather… But the final balance is very positive. By pure coincidence, I had a sample on my desk that I hadn’t tried, and it turned out to be a pleasant surprise.
I absolutely love this perfume. It’s original thanks to that prominent pistachio note, with a gourmet touch and a bit of richness. The cinnamon, which can sometimes feel heavy and tiresome, isn’t as overpowering here, partly due to its amazing longevity. A leather gently sweetened with vanilla also forms part of the core scent. The other notes are less noticeable as it evolves. The saffron, which can sometimes smell rough and difficult, helps with that sense of weight I mentioned earlier, along with the leather, but the final balance is very positive. By pure coincidence, I had a sample on my desk that I hadn’t tried, and it turned out to be a pleasant surprise.
