The best perfume for the office: a very clean and pleasant scent. Highly recommended! Spectacular. Maybe its performance is its weakest point.
I bought the discovery set and this is the first one I’m trying. I can’t pinpoint specific notes, but the scent feels very rounded and solid. It’s fresh, clean, with a green and sweet touch. Classic and formal without being loud. It’s not groundbreaking or powerful, but I absolutely loved it. I’m interested in buying it because the brand refunds the set cost when you purchase the first 100ml bottle, bringing the price down to 54€.
It’s by Bruno Jovanovich, a brand I trust and that a friend recommended. The truth is, it doesn’t hook me. It is clean, green, and fresh, smelling of light aromatic vetiver, but it doesn’t hit my senses or convince me. The Essential Perfumes line seemed to have this style, but it doesn’t. At 30 euros, it might be worth it, but at 75, definitely not.
I see it as a simple, clean, and fresh scent with a classic cut, ideal for work and for anyone looking for something discreet and non-intrusive. It’s not original, following a classic recipe with green (smokeless) vetiver, lime, and juniper. There are many cheaper alternatives on the market, so you probably already have something similar. Moderate sillage, lasting about 7 hours on my skin. Scent 5/10, Longevity 7/10, Sillage 7/10, Value 4.5/10, Versatility 7/10, Packaging 7/10. Would I buy it again? No.
I love it, what a shame it doesn’t last long. It’s the best I’ve tried from the brand, even better than Bois Imperial. It’s a clean, metallic, and very masculine scent where lime and gin dominate. If you like those notes, give it a try; I’d use it year-round as a signature. If it lasted 5-6 hours on skin, I’d buy it without hesitation.
Mon Vetiver isn’t a new launch, but it works perfectly: fresh, clean, and classic for everyday wear without being too formal. Its herbal vetiver with citrus and a hint of juniper is ideal; I don’t notice that metallic aftertaste others mention, though it does appear as it dries, becoming more velvety with a lavender base. Lasts about 4-5 hours with soft projection. It smells great, but the quality-to-price ratio seems to be one of the lowest in the brand’s lineup.
Patchouli takes over as it dries down.
