  • If it really smells like Creed Aventus as they say, it must be sensational. The question is whether it has the same quality. So far, in our stores, we only have the Missoni line from Euroitalia alongside Versace, Moschino, and others. Apparently, Missoni fragrances last a long time. We hope this men’s scent meets or exceeds expectations. When it arrives, I’ll share my opinion.

  • Just arrived: Missoni Pour Homme. I don’t see much resemblance to Creed Aventus; it’s more like Dolce & Gabbana Intenso but fresher and more youthful. It shares citrus notes with the previous one, especially the apple-lavander-oak combination. Personally, the fragrance is exquisite and lasted 6 hours on my skin. The packaging is beautiful, with an ethnic, hippie-chic Missoni style. A complete success from Euroitalia.

  • This perfume is brutal. A citrus opening that evolves into an exceptional woody dry-down. Moderate trail and solid longevity. It has a unique balance; I don’t see any resemblance to Aventus, nor do others. Total versatility; honestly, there are few designer fragrances with this quality.

  • Missoni Pour Homme kicks off with spectacular citrus notes: lemon and grapefruit give way to lavender, a refined scent perfect for springs and mild summers. As it dries down, the apple joins ginger, creating a spicy sweetness that tames the citrus. By the end of the hour, oak and patchouli seal a great finish with a powdery musk that lasts over 5 hours.

  • La Nariz Simple

Top-tier fragrance. The bottle alone screams quality. Smells like Bleu de Chanel but cheaper, with its own unique twist. Luxury quality at an affordable price.

  • It’s incredible that I didn’t know this fragrance. And now that I have it, it’s even more amazing that it hasn’t become mainstream. It’s extraordinary. It was a blind buy (based on the declared notes on this page), and honestly, I was pleasantly surprised: I feel I paid an ridiculously low price for a perfume that’s stupendous compared to the average in the designer range. It’s true that it has a fresh citrus opening that reminds me of Bleu, but then it couldn’t be more different: Apple and Jasmine maintaining a layer of freshness over a super woody and spicy base. It’s definitely a super versatile perfume, although I suppose the ideal would be evenings/nights with temperatures of at least 20 degrees. Regarding performance: I put it on at 5 pm, and at 4 am I still perceive it on my arm. Regarding projection: 5 hours after applying it (only 4 sprays), and the vendor at the kiosk where I bought cigarettes said “what a nice perfume” (2 meters away and wearing a mask). A PERFUME ON BESTIA MODE. An extremely masculine, sexy, fresh, dark, and potent Eau de Parfum. I think it’s a highly recommended blind buy, especially given its incredibly low price.

  • I think I had very high expectations with Missoni, and in reality, it’s a good perfume, and I want to be clear about the scent. In the opening, it feels like a powdered orange (or citrus) that is rich… but the first thing that came to my mind was these effervescent Vitamin C tablets. It smells very similar. Maybe that took away some of the specialness I wanted. But it remains a charming aroma, and it’s not just any citrus perfume. Here we have a well-crafted EDP with very similar traits to Bleu de Chanel (I think if they had removed the Lavender, it would have been a very, very close clone), but everyone goes their own way. It also has a small touch of Aventus or Club de Nuit Intense… which is this combination of Citrus with Birch, as I hadn’t seen those notes, and it brought to mind those perfumes. Since I’m one of those who supports that you should “almost always” try before buying, in this case my test was with a decant that gave me enough for two good uses. Personally, I won’t buy it because for the price, I’d rather get Armaf Millestone or other perfumes in that price range ($50). Do I recommend it? Yes… Because this is a 4×4 perfume, all-terrain, super versatile, a different citrus (among so many woody citrus ones), with decent projection and longevity. But try it first. Edit: I ended up buying it. The price dropped a bit, and I’ve decided to get it. What can I do… it’s a good and pleasant perfume.

  • I recommend it. It smells great in all phases. Longevity 7 hours, projecting for the first 3 hours. Very real citrus opening, in my taste more bark than pulp, which is how I like it. The ginger and woods are very noticeable at the end, all wrapped from the start with lavender, making it more masculine.

  • A hidden gem. A perfume that’s not easy to categorize. It claims to belong to the aromatic woody family, but has nothing of the aromatic in it. People compare it to Bleu de Chanel, but I feel it’s much woodier with fewer nuances. It’s not totally a “blue” fragrance because the freshness is only in the opening, with slightly bitter citrus. Then the woods, ginger, and what I assume is ambroxan take over until the end, giving it a certain darkness. This is one of those cases where the bottle represents the content well. Speaking of performance, it’s quite good. Longevity is great, around 9 hours on my skin. Projection is moderate to low, but the sillage is good. The reason is that it creates a kind of intense, relatively heavy aura at a short distance, but with movement or wind, it becomes perceptible up to about 1.5 meters without issue. I think it’s a somewhat serious, masculine, modern, and versatile fragrance. It’s not invasive, but it accompanies you well. It doesn’t seem necessarily formal, but looks better with a shirt. I highlight the product presentation, with an external box that feels high quality and double-flap internal protection. The bottle cap is magnetic with great holding power. The atomizer is also very good. Scent: 8.5, Longevity: 8.5, Projection: 6, Sillage: 7.5, Value: 8.

  • A hidden gem. Not easy to find. It claims to be a woody aromatic, but it has no aromatic notes. It compares to Bleu de Chanel but smells woodier with fewer nuances. It’s not fully ‘blue’ because the freshness is only at the start, with slightly bitter citrus. Then woods, ginger, and ambroxan dominate until the end, giving it darkness. The bottle represents the contents well. Good performance: lasts about 9 hours. Moderate/low projection, but the trail is good. It creates an intense aura at close range that can be felt up to 1.5 meters with the wind. It’s serious, masculine, modern, and versatile. Not invasive, it accompanies well, ideal with a shirt. Presentation is top-notch: high-quality box with double flap, magnetic cap, and excellent atomizer. Scent: 8.5, Longevity: 8.5, Projection: 6, Trail: 7.5, Value: 8.

  • Missoni Parfum Pour Homme is a fresh, spicy, and woody fragrance. In its opening, I felt very artificial citrus (maybe the sample I used was too old), but fortunately, within five minutes, they disappeared, and the spicy citrus note of ginger with some fresh herbal notes emerged, forming a quite attractive and fresh aroma along with a woody base. In its structure, it’s very similar to Bleu de Chanel, as it contains citrus, ginger, and wood; however, the Missoni fragrance is a bit more rugged or rough, while Bleu feels more refined, which isn’t bad for me since I like both a lot. It’s a fragrance for any season and situation, but better on warm days. Its longevity has been quite good, lasting over 10 hours with regular projection. I recommend it for anyone looking for an affordable alternative to Bleu de Chanel or a fresh, attractive, multi-season fragrance. I’ll definitely look for at least a small bottle.

  • Missoni Parfum Pour Homme is a spicy, fresh, and woody fragrance. At first, I felt very artificial citrus (maybe the sample was old), but within five minutes they disappear, giving way to the spicy ginger citrus with fresh herbal notes that, combined with the woody base, form an attractive aroma. In structure, it’s very similar to Bleu de Chanel (citrus, ginger, wood), but Missoni is rougher, while Bleu is finer. I like both. It’s for any season, better in heat. Very good longevity, over 10 hours with regular projection. I recommend it as an affordable alternative to Bleu or for anyone looking for a fresh, all-season scent. I’ll definitely look for at least a small bottle.

  • I think it’s an excellent fragrance. The comparison to Bleu de Chanel isn’t because this one lacks incense and has wood, but I do think it has similar usage potential. Ideal for spring and summer, very elegant with great citrus notes. It doesn’t have huge projection, but it has excellent longevity and good sillage. Simply a pleasure to wear and must be one of the best value-for-money options on the market. Buy it blind without fear, you’ll like it, and there’s nothing you won’t like about it.

  • It’s fascinating how perfumes differ based on sillage vs. close-up scent, and also depending on skin and individual noses. For me, the performance was only average, and the smell was somewhat disappointing (very citrusy opening that dried down to something like incense-y ginger, with a slightly annoying touch of something similar to the acidic ambroxan in Sauvage). My surprise was applying one spray to someone else and seeing how, even 6 hours later, they smelled confident up close; at 3 hours, it smelled good from a distance, with a scent more akin to that synthetic fresh mint in Bleu EDT that’s also present in Allure Extreme EDT (vintage). Very different experiences. For me, definitely not a buy. I expected something else.

  • Fragancefran

Fantastic. Fresh citrus aroma, versatile, and quite elegant. Everyone loves this scent. Nobody will tell you you don’t smell good. I can see myself wearing it with a formal suit or jeans. Very versatile. Excellent longevity, 7 hours, and good projection for the first 2 hours. Highly recommended.

  • I didn’t like it. I feel like it tries to be everything at once and ends up being nothing; it never decides what it wants to be, lacking a distinct personality.

  • I’ll start by saying I’m absolutely obsessed… I was gifted a sample, and the next day it was already in a bottle thanks to my partner’s glowing reviews. The packaging is great, the scent is quite pleasant and versatile, and longevity on my skin is above average, though the sillage isn’t as strong… and yes… I definitely see it as a clear alternative to Bleu de Chanel. That said… it’s not a perfume that will revolutionize the industry or make you stand out from the crowd… this is one of those you keep when you don’t know what to wear.

  • I bought this fragrance because they said it was similar to Bleu de Chanel, and I’m more disappointed than ever. Where do they get the idea that they’re similar? It’s like comparing an egg to a chestnut. They have nothing to do with each other. Comparing them is an insult to Bleu de Chanel. What a fiasco. Luckily I bought the 50 ml at a good price. This Missoni Eau de Parfum smells like a cheap, run-of-the-mill, synthetic perfume. It seems a lot like Benetton Aim High, it could be a flanker of this one. Its magnetic cap and spray are very good. Don’t let yourself be fooled like I was. It’s better to pay more and have a quality perfume. Edit: I just bought Bleu de Chanel EDP and confirmed they don’t resemble each other at all. Maybe a faint memory of the ginger and nutmeg from the middle phase of the EDT version. The Chanel one smells much better and has more quality, although in longevity they are similar.

  • I didn’t like it at all. Luckily I bought the 30 ml. It’s a difficult style to wear. Initially, it comes out citrusy and fruity, but I don’t know what component makes it sharp, acute, and piercing. Then it continues soapy and camphorated with that touch that overwhelms me and loosens my sinuses. I can’t distinguish the notes, although I have other perfumes with ginger, lime, jasmine, violet: I do perceive something fruity. Sniffing and sniffing, I don’t feel it’s ugly or unpleasant, less so when it dries and a woody floral tone emerges. But that something that encompasses it results in a shock to me. Is it sweet? No. Herbal-earthy? No. Astringent? No. Spiced? No. Dark? No. Bright? Yes. Floral? Not really. Serious? Yes. Feminine? No. Unisex? Not really. Juvenile? Not really. Aristocratic? Maybe. Rough? No, but it has a fine intimidation, a gallant overwhelmingness. I understand that that sharp touch is Italian character that distinguishes it from French and English ones. And yes! It fits a Don Corleone at the opera, coming out after seeing his lover or making an elegant offer that no one rejects. It’s a perverse contradiction that contrasts with the hard, macho nature of the character and the sharpness of the perfume. In Argentina, I’d wear it on a slick, flashy guy who gets challenged to a duel by a malevo for dancing with his girlfriend, and the slick, refined guy pulls out a revolver. It’s not an informal perfume. It’s for formal outings with second intentions. There’s no innocence. It’s not for shy guys or low profiles. Projection: moderate to high. Longevity: over 7 hours, solidly. Sillage: sustained (which I don’t like). Price: moderate. Its magnetic cap is very nice. Versatility: playing with sprays, it could be for everything (except informal). CONCLUSION: Perfume for price and quality, highly recommended. SCENT: too ITALIAN for my taste. Recommended for decisive personalities that need to be taken seriously. If you want to announce to the girl that you’re coming with second intentions and she has to wait for a second act, put on this perfume. That said, either the girl runs away or it ends in passion and fire. That’s why I say, it doesn’t fit my character and I don’t like it.

  • It’s a good fragrance for everyday use. I don’t understand people who insist on comparing it always. Then come the disappointments. It can’t be the same as Bleu de Chanel because it costs four times less, and it would be a joke if it were the same or better. But it’s a good alternative for those who are fed up with always paying for expensive brands that don’t perform at all.

  • While it’s not my type, it’s a good and versatile one. It opens with a sharp, bright citrus that decreases in intensity but maintains itself throughout the duration, accompanied by lavender. It doesn’t vary much; I perceive some ginger and very little wood. A clean perfume, ‘Italian,’ more for day than night, although I’d use it for everything except cold weather. Performance is more than acceptable, 6 hours easily, and it’s cheap. The brown bottle doesn’t match the blue and super-citrusy aroma. Recommended.

I don’t understand what the problem could be with this fragrance, except for personal tastes or believing all 4,000 annual perfumes must be original. I’ve been testing it in Mallorca for days with 20-degree weather, the best scenario. It’s a wonderful aroma: fresh, citrusy, spicy, woody, very versatile, and very similar to Bleu de Chanel. I liked Bleu, but the price wasn’t worth it; now I’ve found an alternative that interests me for my rotation and I’m going to use it a lot. It’s perfect for after the gym, running errands, grabbing a drink with friends, or casual hangouts. The performance is very good. On skin it lasts less, but after 6-7 hours it’s still noticeable on the skin (if applied right after showering it drops to 4-5 hours). You have two options: reapply, since it’s so economical it encourages it, or put it on clothes, which pleasantly surprised me. Lasting more than 7 hours, the fresh part is still there, which I love. I bought the 30 ml, although the 50 ml was cheaper, but the 30 ml is beautiful. I’ll get the 50 or 100 ml because I’m going to use it a lot.

It’s not a clone of Bleu de Chanel at all, they don’t even look alike! It’s like saying YSL Y and Sauvage are the same just because they’re blue. Be careful not to buy it thinking it smells like Bleu and spend a third or fourth of the value. It’s more like Benetton Aim High. I don’t find any charm; it seems generic and a bit formal. It has a classic cut, probably due to the lavender. Unlike Bleu, I don’t recommend it for young people. It’s fine to gift your dad for Christmas, he’ll likely like it for 90s perfumes, though it could easily be from Mercadona. In my opinion, the hype isn’t justified.

Missoni Parfum Pour Homme is a tremendously undervalued perfume and a bold reinterpretation of the seventies and eighties. I’m glad there are still houses betting on this type of aroma. Some call it a clone of Bleu (it has that vibe), but it stands out on its own for its value. There’s more quality lavender here, making it cleaner, with a 90s barbershop touch that makes it more masculine. It comes out strong, spicy, and citrusy, indisputably masculine. It dominates and lingers on the nose for a long time. Over time, it opens up, softens, and gains woody notes and an ambroxan base that enhance the freshness. It’s totally clean, soapy, and all-terrain: goes with a leather jacket, joggers, a hair salon, the office, dad on the couch, or a son at the disco. The first 2 hours are noticeable, then it fades a bit, perhaps performing better in temperate climates. Anyway, it’s a well-made proposal with superior packaging that surprises in quality-to-price ratio. Perfect for limited budgets that want to smell good. P.S.: It seems they will discontinue it, so if you’re interested, buy it now.

As the expert Raúl, ‘The Perfuminsta,’ said, Missoni Parfum Pour Homme is ‘the sublimation of a cheapie fragrance.’ It smells blue, similar to Bleu de Chanel EDT, is 100% masculine, super versatile, and elegant. It’s not mass-produced, ideal for a signature scent without being pretentious or tacky. It has the 3 Bs: good, beautiful, and cheap. It comes with a magnetic cap and luxury packaging. While Bleu has become the ‘Bluf’ due to its low longevity and outrageous price, this Missoni is the best alternative without being a cheap clone or a Dubai-style perfume. And it lasts longer! More than the 2021 Bleu, which only lasts me 4 hours. It’s the sublimation of a cheapie.

  • Lordernesto

I bought the Bleu EDP thinking they would be the same, but there’s not a shred of similarity. Bleu smells like things I already know, while Missoni has its own style and performs much better in trail and longevity.

  • Lordernesto

I bought the Bleu EDP because I read they were identical, but there’s no similarity… Bleu smells like three or four perfumes I already know, while Missoni has its own style and performs better in trail and longevity.

  • I’ve tried it, and frankly, it’s a super versatile and special men’s fragrance. As an Eau de Parfum, it has maximum projection and lasts a long time.

  • While it does resemble Bleu de Chanel, this one takes its own path, leaning more toward classic Italian citrus. Speaking of citrus, they are a true marvel and the clear stars. The opening is super sparkling alongside the ginger, mega clean thanks to the lavender and jasmine, and the base, despite having no sweetness, becomes somewhat creamy due to the sandalwood and woods. Both in terms of presentation (I believe it’s the best bottle I’ve ever held) and ingredient quality, it could be worth much more, and no one would be surprised by that.

  • Hi, I’m new to this world. I think this has always been a hidden passion that just woke up for me at 48, so please excuse my inexperience, but I hope these thoughts can add a fresh perspective. First off, I just picked up this Missoni on Notino for 45€ for 100ml after reading reviews and watching YouTube videos; knowing its profile, I knew it was the type I like. Since I haven’t tested Bleu de Chanel, I can’t compare them directly, but it reminds me of another with matching accords that I haven’t smelled in ages: Tuscany Pour Homme by Aramis, which I used in the 90s. Maybe Missoni is a bit less complex as it evolves, but the opening is similar—citrus with nuances. I insist, I’m a newbie, but it has quite high projection and sillage for at least the first 2-3 hours, and notable longevity. I won’t specify hours as it depends on everyone, but it’s certainly not like most things out there now. The bottle and the magnetic cap are also top-notch. I definitely recommend it; I’m not sure if it’s strictly for daily wear, but it’s not ruled out. Maybe in the middle of summer I’d hesitate and opt for something with a fresher/mariner heart, but for the rest of the year, day or night, I’d use it without hesitation. Cheers.

  • Great review by katakraker, welcome to the beautiful world of perfumery. I don’t own this perfume, but your review is tempting me to try it. Cheers, buddy.

  • JvlivsCaesar2912

I didn’t like it: the opening is too sharp, with that synthetic grapefruit note that causes immediate rejection, plus an unpleasant, synthetic alcoholic opening. It improves a bit during the dry-down but still feels off after two hours. It has absolutely nothing to do with Bleu de Chanel, neither in scent nor quality. I don’t know; it might be something in my skin chemistry, but it just turns me off.

  • MINIPERSON

I’m testing it out; I’m 26. I detect a slight resemblance to Bleu de Chanel, but it’s not the same. If you want something closer, Armaf already released two fragrances inspired by Bleu. The opening is very alcoholic; you have to wait a few minutes for the scent to develop. The aroma itself is quite mature. I see it as better for formal and daily wear. I went to the gym with this and realized the fragrance demanded at least a dress shirt to be worn properly. It’s a good fragrance, yes, but not for young people—I’d say 30 and up. Gentlemen will surely be happy with it. Note: Men with unbalanced skin pH or strong body odor (whether from flora or hormones) should abstain. My father bought it, and on his skin, it smells like dead animals, and he has a very strong body odor. Hope this helps.

  • Cocometal

I bought it blind new today, wow! It’s almost identical to Benetton Men Aim High; I’d say 85-90% the same. The best part is the bottle. We’ll see with use; it was a smart purchase, but I can’t help but think that if I bought the Benetton again, I’d be saving money! I paid a lot for it here in Argentina. There are cheaper alternatives with this scent, 9 AM Dive has something too! Average performance! If it were cheaper here it would be a great option, but it’s not. Cheers.

  • Ultra-masculine, fresh, and slightly old-school, like something for men over 40. Similar to BDC but only slightly in the opening; afterwards, it takes a turn similar to Tous Man Intense. Very good longevity, easily lasts 8 hours on skin and longer on clothes.

  • Sure, it deserves the comparison with Bleu de Chanel. I feel Bleu EDP has more incense and soap; I prefer Bleu EDP and see it as more modern. Missoni Pour Homme is more citrusy and lavender-forward. I feel this could be a signature scent for older gentlemen and an excellent semi-formal option for young people to dress up in spring/summer. Lasts very well and leaves a nice trail. 6.5/10 good perfume.

  • Cristianp2316

What a wonderful and exquisite blue fragrance! It lasts like a champ and compliments come in without you even looking for them.

  • stvnnunez

Hey guys, what a beast of a perfume! I don’t regret the price tag for a second. It starts super inviting with citrus and lavender, then moves into that classic blue soap vibe from the jasmine, ginger, and green apple. But the real magic is the dry down: clean, fresh, and masculine with a semi-natural touch of patchouli, woods, and musk that’s already got me compliments at work. A friend wears Bleu de Chanel EDP, and I told him this shares about 70-75% of its DNA but then takes its own path. Perfect for heat, lasts long. On me: 6h longevity, 1h projection, 2h personal bubble, 3h on skin and trail fading to -1.5m. I recommend it for signature scents, dates, office, and meetings. Not for formal events, clubs, or sports. 15+ years old. 8/10, attractive and clean.
