I’m surprised they didn’t mention the aldehydes, because if my nose isn’t deceiving me, they’re definitely there; it took me a while to get used to it, it smells very vintage and is almost identical to Chanel No. 5, which I don’t care for, but Miriam, the first perfume from Tauer based on the anthology ‘Portrait of a Woman’, with three girls and three scents across decades, recreates it all beautifully, even though I didn’t live through those eras :). It’s not my favorite of the three, but it’s impressive and gorgeous; besides reminding me of No. 5 (which I dislike and finds stronger than Miriam), it brings back memories of Bois des Îles, which I adore. As I said, it took me some time to warm up to it, but it’s stunning. It’s a powdery, delicate, floral, and feminine scent. By the way, Fragrance of Women, these three fragrances are an olfactory experience you can’t miss.
