This fragrance generates so much anticipation! From the Art Nouveau aesthetics of the bottle and graphics, allegorical to the classic spectacle, to the notes commemorating the scents that flood the air before the circus: sweetness, color, and the shine of caramelized apples, the popcorn, the perfumes of people getting ready for the event, mixed with essences of candies and pastries, volatilized sugars, joy, and comfort. It’s an eau de parfum, so it’s supposed to have intensity and presence, but nothing. Welcome another gourmand to the wish shelf.

Honestly, I was taken aback by the opening notes: butter and popcorn. It seemed like a pretty good and delicious gourmand scent. But what lingered on my skin was caramel, cotton candy, and vanilla. I didn’t detect any floral notes at all; honestly, on my skin it smells like Lucky Charms cereal. It’s a very sweet and potent scent; my husband could smell it from a distance. It’s not my style, but for sweet lovers, it will be a delight. The bottle is gorgeous, true art. If you love smelling like a pastry or sugar, this is yours. I recommend testing it on skin before buying.
A few days before my birthday, I checked if it was available in Spain, and boom! It arrived home just in time for my birthday. What an incredible concept wrapped in such beauty. The notes deliver exactly what they promised without any floating kids or weird stuff. An influencer with millions of perfumes called it the best gourmand of the year; I don’t know if it’s the absolute best, but I definitely believe it’s THE ONE. A sweet bomb in a dream bottle.
So sweet it’s unbearable! You can really taste the corn, chocolate, and vanilla. It has incredible longevity, lasting about 9 hours on skin and clothes until washed. Honestly, it smells exactly like Brownie Pop. If you already own that, this Cirque isn’t necessary.
