It opens with a potent, heavy jasmine. It’s pretty, but from the start it smells like Givenchy’s Organza. If you love intense, honeyed, bold white florals, this is your fragrance. If you only wear them occasionally, I’d go for the Givenchy instead: it’s easier to find and costs half the price. Both have great presence and longevity on my skin. Be careful in enclosed spaces; these aren’t for everyone. Try them on your skin and draw your own conclusions.
Awarded Indie Fragrance of the Year 2024 by The Fragrance Foundation. It features a neroli blossom with great sillage and longevity. I’ll expand on my review in a few days.
Same story with Grey Flannel: I’m obsessed with the sweet, creamy neroli and jasmine drydown (it reminds me of Organza, my mom’s favorite), but the dry-down disappoints. It smells like incense soap. I see it as fresh for fall-winter, but too heavy for spring-summer, and it’s not my style for evening wear.
It’s the king of my collection: a dense, opulent white floral. My husband loves it so much I have to hide it; it’s too addictive for his nose. I adore it too, but I keep it for intimacy and short dates.
