Hello fellow perfume lovers! I absolutely adore oud and leather scents. I already own Oud for Greatness, Acqua di Parma Leather, and Cuir de Élite, all top-tier fragrances. However, Floris Leather Oud doesn’t do anything for me: it smells like matchbook powder, lacks sillage and projection, and has zero longevity. I bought it blindly, trusting reviews from an online store at Madrei Isolée. I don’t recommend it; avoid it at all costs.
Out of all the leather perfumes I’ve tried, this one stands out. At first, it smells like fine Italian leather shoes, distinct from Tom Ford and its peers. It features a very realistic leather base layered with floral notes and a soft, pleasant oud that’s noticeable but not overpowering. After a while, I detect a woody, green undertone, likely from vetiver and patchouli, but the core remains leather, flowers, and oud. The result is spectacular: elegant, striking, yet not harsh, much like a high-end Hi-Fi system. Recommended for leather enthusiasts, perfect for special occasions, day or night, in cooler seasons. You won’t forget it. Scent 9/10, Sillage 8.5/10, Longevity 8/10, Projection 8.5/10. Give it a try, you’ll love it.
