Simply masterful. It’s pricey, but worth every penny. The iris and the genuine skin scent create a fantastic combination. Very masculine, and I believe no one can resist these scents. It works well in cold climates.
It opens with a very strong lipstick-type iris that gradually fades on my skin, and thanks to the leather—which to my nose is a blend of Ombre Leather and Irish Leather—the leather causes the opening iris to die out, at least on my skin. It doesn’t remind me of Valentino Uomo Intense at any point, but from afar it can bring back memories of Ombre Leather, though less potent. In the dry down, it seems like it will be very powerful and loud, but in my case, it stays fairly contained. It’s not bad, but it won’t keep you up at night if you don’t own it; from this house, I still stick with Coffee Addict and Alluring Fig.
One of the most masculine scents from the house, where iris is wrapped in leather that dominates the entire journey. It’s a head-to-toe leather experience. It projects a bold, impulsive aroma, but over time it tames down, lowers in volume, and settles into a fixed, steady state without the initial luxury. A custom-made perfume for leather lovers. Not my favorite, but I have to admit it’s a very beautiful creation, priced lower than leather offerings from other houses like Mr. Ford. It’s a scent I absolutely love on a man’s skin, more so than on mine.
