Wow, beast mode. Leather is my queen note, and this has been my discovery of the year so far. A brutal, rich, potent, and animal leather, yet surprisingly elegant and distinguished. If you know Afrika Olifant, think of LF as its polished and noble version. It reminded me a lot, exuding that animal power without being as “dirty.” A masterpiece. The Royal feels more luxurious, soft, and refined, with sweet/fruit notes (dates) that aren’t really my thing; this one is more rugged, animalistic, and tough.
