I remember it as so beautiful, strong, and elegant—one of the ones that are gone forever. It lasted all day, and on clothes it was incredible: you’d iron your blouse, and the scent would still be there.
If there’s one word for this perfume, it’s ‘luxury’. Very intense and feminine, opening with coal tar, amber, smoke, and a touch of rose. It’s a shame I can’t find anything like that masterpiece anymore; what they sell now isn’t J’ai Ose. Perfect for a true lady, in her boudoir.
I love it… it’s decadent, rich, baroque, and complex. Totally unisex, though today it leans more masculine. Ideal with a leather jacket, sexy, almost erotic, super Parisian, and a true classic.
One of the best ever released. Perfect for an elegant, sexy woman; it clung to the skin like a second layer. Lasted all day and more, even on clothes. The French house no longer makes it, but it’s still available in the US, though with less longevity than when Guy Larroche created it.
A late 70s gem. It opens with a strong coal tar that hits you hard, but once it dries, the oakmoss and aldehydes really shine through. Don’t buy it blindly; take your time with it.
