First time that long-lasting longevity and massive sillage are actually a problem with a perfume. The stench of this Jabir by Xerjoff never goes away no matter how much you use it. It smells like urine, and I don’t think it’s just on my skin because it smelled the same on the tester—a scent that makes you almost cry. I have no other way to describe it than accumulated urine in a place. Disgusting.
What an awesome perfume, ideal for those seeking intense aromatic experiences. It’s super floral, deep, and powerful with violet, freesia, and rose over a base of oud and vanilla. It reminds me a lot of Flaming Red by Santi Burgas, but with infinitely superior quality. In the dry down, you get vetiver, musk, and that earthy touch of patchouli. It’s intense, almost pyrotechnic—nothing discreet, but very good. Unisex, for ages 30+, for casual or semi-formal wear, in all seasons except extreme heat. On my skin, it lasts about twelve hours, very prominent for the first four, then fades to a skin scent. In short, a great perfume. Scent: 8.5/10, Sillage: 9/10, Longevity: 9.5/10, Projection: 9/10.
Best blend of oud and florals I’ve ever tried. The oud is natural and noticeable, but the sweet, clean, fresh floral notes soften it perfectly, removing the resinous edge. A top-tier fragrance.
