Descripción
Hawas Viper by Rasasi is an oriental fragrance for men. Launched in 2025, this creation is presented as a new addition to the brand's collection. Its olfactory pyramid unfolds with a vibrant top note of saffron, cannabis, thyme, green notes, and davana; a spicy and fruity heart composed of tobacco, coffee, cinnamon, raspberry, and violet; and a woody, sweet base that combines tonka bean, Gurjum balsam, and musk.

Another hit from the Arabs. This Rasasi is an addictive bohemian cocktail: it opens with the audacity of saffron and cannabis (nothing like Victoria Secret, more like Black Afgano), which blend masterfully with green notes that are a bit off-putting and davana, a note I don’t know but is present. The heart is sublime: a warm, earthy combo of slightly sweet tobacco, candy-like sweet coffee, and spiced raspberry. The projection is beastly (9.5/10), a true trail that stops people in their tracks; longevity is extreme, over 12 hours on skin, which you’d expect from Rasasi. Ideal for fall/winter, perfect for night or elegant events; I get by with 10 sprays and it behaves incredibly well in cool weather. It’s for the artistic, mysterious person with a lot of attitude, 25 and up; I smell it and it evokes a dark, elegant forest green, very classy. Audience: 45% men / 10% women / 45% unisex (due to its depth). Attractiveness level 20/10 (very young women might not fully dig it, but those over 24 will absolutely love it). It smells like success without smelling old and is a quality fragrance. Overall score: 98/100, though I must say it’s not for everyone, try it before buying, don’t buy blindly.
A totally contrasting fragrance: you either hate it or love it. The notes bear a strong resemblance to Black Afgano and also remind me of Terrioni by Orto Parisi and Terra by Maison Alhambra. It has quite powerful projection and very long-lasting performance. Not something to buy blindly, but it’s a really great perfume.
A totally contrasting perfume: you hate it or you love it. The notes bear a huge resemblance to Black Afgano and also remind me of Terrioni by Orto Parisi and Terra by Maison Alhambra. It has quite powerful projection and fairly long-lasting longevity. Not something to buy blindly, but it’s a very good perfume.
A perfume with no middle ground: you either hate it or love it. Don’t buy it blindly (I did because the packaging and curiosity got me). For some reason, I get vibes of Maison Margiela Jazz Club, but more chaotic, dirty, and less sweet; however, I’m not wrong—this Viper smells great and feels commanding. It smells like intoxicating smoke with tobacco; I can’t detect the declared raspberry. At 22, I feel out of place even in the right setting (cold, formal nights), yet it still smells expensive, maybe more ideal for those over 30. I don’t know how it performs since I only sprayed one or two on my arm to test, but it definitely evolves well and lasts quite a while. In short, if you’re over 30 and like to make an impression, I think it’s a great buy.
Wow, what a surprise! I’ve tried four editions of Hawas, and they’re all different, but this is my favorite. What really stands out is the spicy, heavy tobacco note; it reminds me a lot of my John Varvatos Dark Rebel. The Dark is softer because it has more variation as it evolves, but it’s not soft per se—it’s rough. Anyway, Viper is an aromatic bomb of spice and tobacco. Sure, it’s not for everyone, but you should smell it first. In my case, looking for dark, heavy scents, it was a pleasant surprise. I loved it; it has great projection and longevity, lasting over 10 hours on skin and projecting far on clothes.
If you’ve never tried fragrances like this before, don’t buy it blindly—you might be disappointed. Try it first, though finding a place to smell it can be tricky: 1) Avoid enclosed spaces. 2) Be careful with sprays; test it on your skin. 3) If you’re going to dinner, use less, or your dining companions won’t enjoy the meal.
