What a delightful fragrance: eccentric, sophisticated, unique, a true gem. The Cambodian and Indian oud notes give this wonder its personality. For the price and what it offers, it’s a real experience. I wouldn’t recommend it to those just starting in the world of oud because, unlike other proposals, there are two types of oud here, and if your nose isn’t familiar with it, it could be a letdown for newbies. However, it’s an incredible olfactory experience; the citrus and oud blend is risky, but here it fits perfectly. Moderate to heavy sillage, incredible longevity—hours on skin and clothes, lasting days on fabric. Projection is also very good, and compliments will follow. I give it a 10/10.
I have to try it. Although the content is key, this might be the fragrance with the most beautiful bottle in the world. It’s elegant without being tacky or over-the-top. I’ll edit this once I get a sample, haha.
I loved the combination, though I expected more power, something livelier and with more spark.
🧐 What can I say? There’s a lot to tell, but the keyword is ‘sophisticated’. At first, the oud dominates for just a few seconds, and some comments say it smells like raw meat or poop, which isn’t my experience; it’s a bit animalic, but it fades quickly. Soon the citrus comes out and blends perfectly with the oud, adding elegance and freshness. It’s novel and sure to grab attention—it’s nothing like a common scent. I’m super thrilled with Asrar Indonesia. It was my first fragrance from Rasasi’s Al Boruzz line, which got me interested in the rest of the collection. The only downside is they’re hard to find, and when you do, the price is steep.
Spectacular. Challenging opening, but after 15 minutes it transforms into a high-quality wood and citrus fragrance.
I bought it blindly based on YouTube reviews and the listed notes. I loved it from the first spray: a challenging opening thanks to the two ouds, followed 15-20 minutes later by citrus notes that create a delicious blend with the woods. I see it as super versatile for everyday wear, a scent everyone seems to like.
I picked this one randomly based on YouTube reviews and the official notes. Right from the first spray, the opening with those two ouds is a bit of a challenge, but after 15–20 minutes, the citrus notes kick in and create a delicious woody blend. I see it as super versatile for everyday wear, and it smells great on everyone.
A bombshell… I didn’t expect something so powerful or challenging, but it caught me off guard. It’s a gem that could easily become my signature scent. Rasasi gets a 10 for this one.
Honestly, I perceive fecal notes, but it settles well because it has another sweet note, like medium-high hair conditioner. The truth is it’s good, it has its own DNA, but it doesn’t kill. =
This is a delight. It opens very animalic due to the oud, which is dirty and fecal, very similar to Burgas. What I like is that it avoids the classic oud-rose combo and opts for a citrus blend that tames the intensity of the oud, making it much more wearable. Very versatile, in my opinion. It’s the only oud I don’t hesitate to wear when it’s hot. Ideal for people living in places where the cold lasts about three months. That’s why it’s one of my favorites. Just keep in mind that if you don’t like animalic oud or aren’t used to it, test it out before committing. The only downside is that it’s a bit pricey, but it’s worth it.
It’s a delight. Opens very animalic due to the oud, it’s a dirty and fecal oud, very similar to Burgas. What I like is that it moves away from the oud-rose combo and bets on citrus notes that lower the intensity, making it more wearable. Very versatile and the only oud where you won’t think twice if it’s hot. Very useful for those of us living in countries where cold lasts at most three months. That’s why it’s one of my favorites. Note: if you don’t like animalic oud, test it first. The only downside is that it’s expensive, but it’s worth it.
Oud here, oud there, the perfect perfume does exist: 11/10 with everyone’s permission. Super masculine, nothing unisex, only for men. Simply the best Rasasi perfume.
It opens with citrus notes and animalic oud that reminds me of a leather tannery with metallic touches, but it’s not unpleasant; it’s like horse saddle leather with lemon. It settles into a high-quality oud. It’s strong, quite masculine, and yes, it smells fecal, so it’s not for every nose, but I think it’s wearable all year round. Lasts 9 hours.
It’s a Rasasi niche, one of the best oud perfumes that exist.
Amazing scent, long-lasting, with a brilliant and fantastic trail, this is it. This is niche.
Smells like a tannery.
The golden beast… It doesn’t clone anyone and gives you everything a perfume can offer: distinction, impact, and emotion.
I bought it with high expectations and testing it on my arm was a pleasant surprise: an oud with character from the start. You can feel the animal and slightly fecal note of authentic oud, confirming its quality. At the same time, there are citrus notes with a fresh lemon touch that balances everything. It reminded me of Invisible But Cool by Ramón Monegal, but with more depth thanks to the oud. It’s outstanding, collection-worthy, and surprisingly wearable. Its evolution is harmonious and refined, ideal for those seeking an accessible and sophisticated oud.
First review on Fragrantica and my nose isn’t ready yet. I bought a decant based on the promise of natural, refined oud. On the opening, it definitely smells like those fecal notes everyone talks about (I remember Tom Ford Oud Wood didn’t have that and is much easier to wear). As it dries down, it turns into an old smell, like a trench coat stored for years in grandma’s closet. For now, I’ll keep it in the safe; I’m not sure what situation to wear it in, but maybe I’ll appreciate its complexity in the future.
