Honestly, these might be different perfumes because I haven’t found any charm, beauty, or elegance in them. The only thing that saved it was the packaging. It’s a rough ‘inspiration’ of Aventus—synthetic, sharp, and piercing, with a herbal and acidic base. It lasted about 5 hours and never once felt worth spending money on. Don’t buy it blindly; the disappointment can be brutal. Nothing else to add, I hope you do better with your own clothes.
A perfume I definitely recommend: it starts with a mature, sweet, high-quality bergamot (sometimes mistaken for grilled pineapple), followed by an intense patchouli moss (dry and cutting like pepper) that only softens with black currant, and so on until the end… Italian class, for a middle-aged man who is well-dressed and versatile. It lasts 6 hours, is intense, and eventually degrades into a different scent that can become overwhelming. The closest thing to Aventus I’ve ever forgotten in my life.
If you’re traveling in Italy and suddenly smell something wonderful on the street, you’re probably near a store of this brand. They’ve done a masterstroke in marketing, flooding their stores with this perfume that smells amazing from afar and attracts you like a magnet; once inside, it’s hard to resist since it costs less than any designer brand and is a scent everyone loves, projecting elegance, freshness, and class just like the store. Clearly inspired by Aventus but with its own twist that makes it not an exact clone: it lacks the smokiness and is greener and woodier. Wish stores like Álvaro Moreno and Springfield had learned, because at least personally, their scents drive me away from their shops, and I prefer to stay away as much as possible.
