This is my second fragrance from this house, and it has already won me over. A classic fougère with surprising elegance. It opens like Beau du Jour: mint, lavender, moss, and citrus over a creamy, vanilla base without being sweet. What makes it unique is that slightly dirty, animalic touch from the ambergris, which smells like raw leather and adds immense depth. Then green notes emerge—laurel, patchouli, and hyssop—blending with cedar, camphor, and bitter lemon to balance everything with sobriety. In the dry down, near the skin, it reminds me of the previous one again. It’s a strong classic at first but becomes very distinguished later, with moderate projection for about two hours and eight hours of longevity. Ideal for those over 30 in formal or semi-formal settings, all year round. My signature scent. Scent: 9.5/10 Sillage: 8.5/10 Projection: 8.5/10 Longevity: 8.5/10
