I bought Glacier Pour Homme looking for a clone of the old Le Male, that one with a wet earth scent upon drying; unable to find it, I tried a small bottle of the original and confirmed they are identical. Don’t bother buying the Le Male, go straight for the Glacier: it smells of powdery lavender and mint at first, then vanilla comes out, leaving vanilla and mint at the end.
I have it, and it smells very similar to Halloween Man, seriously, try it.
A delicacy
Fresh out of the wrapper, the half-size EDT similar Le Male can crumble at the bottom (hold the base firmly). When sprayed on the wrist, it starts with strong vanilla and a bit of alcohol, then you notice some lavender and mint. It’s strange because I don’t remember how the Le Male EDT used to smell, but it reminded me of 10 years ago when I owned one and used it up in a month; I bought two bottles back then. The Le Male from that era fascinated me; before that, I used Versace Eros EDT. The point is: the perfume is very rich, sweet due to the excess vanilla and perhaps cardamom. Maybe it lacks a bit of ‘maceration,’ there’s little mint (noticeable but less), and no citrus. It does have that earthy aroma. It’s a good perfume for the price; after 20 minutes, it smells better and you notice the notes more. I don’t remember exactly what I used 10 years ago; I’d need one to compare with a current bottle. I recommend it for the price because it stands out from everything else out there, it’s different, and it’s a great scent. Hope to add my experience. Cheers.
If the Le Male is considered boring or not recommended nowadays, I can’t imagine the dupe is any different; for the price, you have to try it.
Perfect clone of the new Le Male versions. I own both and confirm they are identical in scent and projection. I definitely won’t go back to the original; this is my safe bet: 9/10.

This fragrance revolutionized perfumery and remains relevant to this day. While it’s no longer the top pick, it’s undeniably a rich scent. For around 500 Mexican pesos, it’s absolutely worth it—it’s very similar, if not identical, to what you find today in a Le Male (scent, longevity, trail, etc.). The downside is that other Glacier versions aren’t as accurate as this one.
I’d take both: this one for casual wear or gifts, and the original for nights out or dates. This has less mint and is more linear; the Glacier lacks that effect that highlights the masculine skin scent during drydown like the original Le Male. It’s sweeter and swaps caraway for cumin, which some might not prefer. But is it worth paying 10 times more at retail for the original? That’s up to you. For me, yes—both in scent, projection, and longevity. If it were up to me, I’d prefer a partial of the original or its 125ml version during a mega sale. I recommend the Glacier to get an idea of what the original Le Male is like; if you like this, you’ll love the JPG, and the 30ml size is great to keep in your bag.
I’d take both: this one for daily wear or gifting, and the original for dates and personal enjoyment. This has less mint and is more linear; the Glacier doesn’t achieve that skin-enhancing dry-down effect of the original Le Male. It’s sweeter and swaps caraway for cumin, which doesn’t suit everyone. But is it worth paying 10 times more at retail for that effect? For me, yes, in terms of scent, projection, and longevity. If I could choose, I’d prefer a partial version of the original or the 125ml deal. I recommend the Glacier to get a sense of what the original Le Male is like; if you like this, you’ll love the JPG, and the 30ml size is great for carrying in your bag.
