Very alcoholic opening, but the scents emerge over time. Not much projection, but more longevity on the skin. It’s very similar to the JPG Ultra Male, a viable budget option if you don’t mind the start.

At first, it’s very alcoholic, but over time the scents really come through. It doesn’t have much projection, but it lasts longer on the skin. It’s very similar to the Ultra Male by JPG; it’s a viable budget option if you don’t mind the initial blast.

If you can’t find the Jean Paul Gaultier Ultra Male in stores, don’t replace it with Glacier Ultra. They are different; its opening lacks the pear, bergamot, mint, or lavender aroma. The Glacier opening is stronger, with pepper and an adorable pineapple trail that is actually vanilla and acidic lime, which notably differentiates it. It has nothing to envy from expensive perfumes; its composition is balanced to soften strong ingredients. It’s a worthy essence for the collection, it can smell good on skin and clothes depending on the person. It’s long-lasting, suitable for both formal and informal occasions, and as it fades, it leaves vanilla, moss, and amber.

  • Review from someone young and inexperienced: If you’re looking for a dupe of the JPG Ultramale, this is a good option if the Afnan 9pm or Ramz Silver are too expensive. I compared it with the Ultramale and the 9pm, and they smell quite similar. Although it doesn’t list pear as a note, it has a juicy pear scent; as it dries, between 6-8 hours, it can be confused with a hard pineapple. It has a trail of at least 2 hours that fades without giving blasts and causes olfactory fatigue (at least for me). PD: If you don’t like it sweet or with cinnamon, this isn’t for you.

  • Review for young folks: if you’re looking for a dupe of the JPG Ultra Male and the originals or Afnan 9PM are too pricey, this is your option. Compared to both, it smells very similar. Although it doesn’t list pear, it has a juicy note that can be mistaken for a hard pineapple after 6 to 8 hours. The trail lasts about 2 hours but fades without giving strong bursts and can cause olfactory fatigue. P.S.: if you don’t like sweet or cinnamon notes, this isn’t for you.

  • I’m not sure if I love it; I’m still testing it and for now I’d use it for going out at night, but it gives me stomach pain with its scent. Maybe it’s too strong for me. I’ll update later. After a few hours, it still performs well, smells great, and I don’t find it as strong anymore. I recommend it.

Hey, don’t listen to people who review without letting it mature. You HAVE TO AGE Arabic perfumes. When it first arrived, it lasted 3 hours with a weak trail and projection that barely reached an hour. I left it in its tin for 6 months, and now it has a moderate trail, decent projection for 3 hours, and lasts 8 hours on skin. It’s a showstopper. It’s a well-executed clone of the Ultramale, coming out more polished. Excellent price, and after aging, it’s more than good. Easy to like, sweet and clean, it pairs well with the original JPG (though it doesn’t replace it), and my nose detects fruits like pear or pineapple.

It’s good, it’s decent. Over time, the longevity has improved, but don’t expect a bomb; this little bottle has what it takes. Low profile but rich for the price, spectacular. If you’re looking for something similar to the JPG Ultra Male with better longevity and wider projection, go for the 9pm. They differ; they aren’t the same. The 9pm can feel synthetic at first, but that’s obvious knowing the molecules used for its performance.

Well, what’s up. Over time, the longevity has improved, but don’t expect a brutal bomb; this bottle has what it has. It’s low-key but rich for the low $$$, absolutely spectacular. If you’re looking for something similar to the JPG Ultra Male with good longevity and a bit of cloud, go for the 9PM. There are differences; they’re not identical. The 9PM can feel a bit more synthetic at first, but it’s obvious when you consider the performance it has with so many molecules.

  • I bought it and didn’t like it at first—it smelled very faint. But after months of aging, it improved by 300%, smells amazing, and you can really tell. I recommend it; you just have to let it mature.

  • I bought this and it didn’t convince me at first; it barely smelled. But after months of aging, the change is brutal: it smells 300% better and you can really tell. I recommend it, but be patient and let it mature.

  • Absolutely delicious vanilla that isn’t cloying, paired with amber and cinnamon for a fruity touch; it has a medium-fresh sweetness, and the lavender comes out more as it dries down. It doesn’t project wildly, it’s subtle but not weak.
