A tender, delicate perfume that invites relaxation, like a caress on the skin. This is how I enjoy FLAVOUR OF LOVE by @savoursweden. A perfect balance where the order of ingredients doesn’t matter because each one unfolds differently at various stages, though one always stands out. Magnolia opens this olfactory masterpiece with the creaminess of its petals, a soft vanilla tone, and hints of citrus from coriander. Then, the almost metallic purity of iris turns into fresh powder alongside spicy black pepper. It’s hard not to surrender here; it feels like the perfume of your life has arrived. Next, bright violets add sweetness and clean petal notes that gradually warm up with cedar and sandalwood, like a soft natural coat. As it dries, it gains sensuality from the absolute ambrette and animalic touches that blend with musk: still clean and soapy, but sexier, reminiscent of bare skin. The woods return to anchor and warm the dry down, leaving a lasting trail. Violets take the lead, showcasing different facets for that clean, pleasant, addictive scent. Flavor Of Love is a dedication to the LGBTQ+ community, friends, and family. Love is a human right that includes full freedoms and democratic rights.
