  A bit too much for me. Smells balsamic and ambered but very animalic, with intense civet and leather. The name fits perfectly; it reminds me of the smell of cat houses. I’m not sure if I like it—it feels strong. But for those seeking dirty balsamic aromas, it could be a good option. Longevity and projection are good. I’ve tried two others from Carné, and this is nothing like them; Felino makes itself felt with intensity. It’s an extrait in every sense, though I probably wouldn’t buy it myself. Recommended to try first. I see it as unisex, but given how intense and dirty it is, I think it will appeal more to men than women. Still, it can be considered sexy. Scent: 7.5, Longevity: 9, Projection: 8, Value: 5, Versatility: 5, Originality: 9, Overall: 8

  Maximum animal vibes with that leather and civet. Shalimar looks ultra light by comparison 😅

  For me, it doesn’t smell that animalic, and I don’t detect the floral notes they claim it has. What I do get is a spicy balsamic amber with a sweet touch and a bit of leather. It lasts 8-10 hours and leaves a nice trail.

  What really sticks with me is that dry tobacco note, like cigarette smoke lingering on clothes after you’ve put the cigarette out—a slightly unpleasant imprint. I don’t sense any animalic notes or leather, even though I’ve smelled countless perfumes in that style. I’ve realized my idea of ‘animalic’ is different: something real and dirty, not these clean woods or restrained smoky notes that look like mink coats but aren’t actually animalic, just a imitation. The feline aspect didn’t surprise me; it has a nice liturgical incense vibe, like Midnight Mass, which adds seriousness, but that’s about it. It’s a classic, correct, gray, and forgettable. With that name, I expected a darker, purring fur play instead.
