Emotions walks the path of Arpege or Chanel No. 5. It’s a Helena Rubinstein gem that few people know about, and unfortunately, it doesn’t sit well on the skin, but its longevity is quite interesting. The scent is a dusty rose with spicy and woody notes. It has a very well-crafted balsamic heart and a resinous, amber base that sometimes reminds me of Arpege. This is the kind of fragrance you’d expect to find if you traveled back to the 60s. Jean Kerléo created it while working for Rubinstein, before he went on to craft several fragrances for Jean Patou.
