  Sweet as honey, with a touch of talcum, warm and innocent. It has a precious note of crabapple blossom blended with lilac that melds perfectly; anise and bergamot dominate at first, then recede, letting those two flowers take the forefront to give it character without losing its lightness. It was a hit for Helena Rubinstein during and after the war, easy to produce and very affordable, which was ideal for that era. Dating back to the mid-30s, the brand later leveraged this success to launch Heaven Scent as a follow-up.

  This scent takes me straight back to my childhood, when my mom used it and left a heavenly trail that lasted for hours. It was the finest, most exquisite talcum powder. I remember she bought makeup and creams from the brand, and they gave her those 5 or 10-ounce sample jars as gifts. There were several of them, and it always smelled amazing in her vanity. It’s no longer available, but how wonderful it would be to have some jars for her and for me. It was divine glory, pure charm, magnificent beauty, and innocence embodied in lovely purity.
