Followed the recommendations and tried it for a few days: it’s a 1/1 to JPG Elixir. Projects for about two hours and lasts up to 8 hours on skin, much longer on clothes. Be careful when going out because it’s potent and can be overwhelming. What I like most is that exquisite sweet mint, like gum, which dominates the dry down. I haven’t tried other clones, but this one is perfect. Ideal for fall, winter, and fresh spring days. Although it’s a men’s fragrance, it smells great on women too thanks to the mint. A perfume that outperforms the original in longevity and projection.
I feel like a mix between Le Male Elixir, Armani Code (my signature), and a touch of Rosendo Mateu 5 (which I don’t like, but it’s just a hint). Smells very good, a bit more mature than the JPG and slightly less sweet. I recommend it quite a bit. Better than Lattafa’s The Kingdom, with better perceived quality.
Without a doubt, the best one.
On the opening, it smells very similar to Le Male Elixir, but I perceive it as spicier than the original, with the vanilla a bit toned down. It projects quite well and I’ll see how the longevity holds up. I sense it as a bit more mature and it’s pretty good overall.
At first, it’s very similar to JPG Elixir, but as it dries down, the vanilla reminds me more of Rosendo Mateu 5 or D’Ombre Leather. It has good longevity and scent, but for my nose, it doesn’t smell as similar to The Kingdom or Rayhaan Elixir.
