Hi… I gifted this to my sister and she’s blown away. The scent is gorgeous and noticeable from afar. It starts soft and then explodes. It lasts for hours and smells divine.
It smells exquisite at first. The orange blossom is strong, balanced by the sweet touch of peach. As it dries down, it evolves and the other flowers really shine, especially the neroli. Up to this point, it’s perfect for me. The problem kicks in after an hour or so when that musk typical of some Arab fragrances emerges, and on my skin, it smells terrible, making the perfume unwearable. I’ve had this happen with several scents I love, only to end up with that sour, unpleasant dry-down (like Ana Abiyedh and Rouat Al Musk from Lattafa, Zeno and Narcotic Flower from Maison Alhambra, or Shuhrah from Rasasi). If you’re lucky enough for that musk to work on your skin and you enjoy sweet florals, it’s a great buy for the quality-to-price ratio (despite the ugly bottle).
One and done… I absolutely love Creed Wind Flowers, but the price is insane. I looked for reviews and found Ego, which they say is an exact copy. I hunted it down, grabbed a deal, and bought it. I wore Creed on my left wrist and Armaf on the right… The Armaf was the one that projected more. It has that powerful Arab fragrance punch, and I won’t deny it, but it lacks the quality and delicacy of Creed. They share notes, but Ego has a sharp edge—probably that musk blended with peach and white flowers dominating everything. I don’t detect neroli, iris, or praline. I won’t go further because it might be a hit for some, but unfortunately, it’s not comparable to Wind Flowers. I wish it were… If anyone’s interested, I’m selling it.

For me, it’s a no, no, no.
A definite no for me.
