Descripción
Eau d'Eden by Cacharel is a floral aquatic fragrance for women. Launched in 1996, this composition was created by perfumer Jean Guichard. The top notes feature iris and rose, offering a fresh and delicate opening. The heart reveals a harmony between hyacinth, nectarine, and peach, imparting a fruity and floral sweetness. The base rests on fruity notes, white musk, and sandalwood, closing the structure with an enveloping and persistent warmth.

It’s a pity I couldn’t buy it. By the time I had the chance, it was already discontinued.
Oh my god, I wish it would return, even if just for a while; I’d buy several. I’m a perfume fanatic and collect the ones I love. I’d been searching for years for a scent that lasted and pleased me so much, and I found it, but they discontinued it. I couldn’t believe it; I used it for two years and it was my second skin. When it ran out, I felt like I wasn’t the same; I got so used to it that it was hard to accept. I’ve looked everywhere, but it’s gone. I wonder why they always take away the richest, strongest perfumes, like Pichi by Cat, and leave them. Sometimes they don’t realize that perfume is felt when you pass by, not when you get close, or it smells like an air freshener. I hope someone hears this so it returns; it’s my favorite and I’ve had to use others that don’t compare.
Like Priscilla, I want it back. It was youthful, refreshing, energizing, and cheerful. What a pity they discontinued it.
A beautiful fragrance. It was my scent for a long time.
For those left wanting like me: Mary Kay’s Belara is identical. Good luck to everyone!
Fresh but with a lot of punch. Sweet fruit notes and white flowers that end in a warm musk, very similar to Eau de Biotherm. I reviewed it in more depth on my blog: historias-fragantes.blogspot.com. It’s a shame they discontinued it.
Fresh, light, and super cheerful…
Ahhh, what a perfume I loved! I bought it several times, and the last time I wanted to buy it, they told me ‘They’re no longer made.’ I almost died! It was a gentle, feminine, floral, sweet fragrance for any time of day, especially spring and summer. I don’t understand how they still make Eden and left this one behind. It just doesn’t click with me. What a pity!
The best. So rich, unique, literally one of a kind.
You were so delicious! By God, why did they discontinue it when it was so tasty? One of the best for summer!
I miss you.
Requiem for Eau D’Eden. One of my favorite girlhood perfumes. Smelling it transported me back to elementary school: it reminded me of girls’ secrets, the perfumed paper everyone used, the attitude toward boys… it had a spectacular hyacinth and subtle powdery fruits wrapped in gift paper. How cheesy, haha! I’ll try those that say they’re similar. For Eau D’Eden, 8.5/10.
It accompanied me at the start of my youth and quickly became my favorite fragrance… its longevity and sillage were incredible! I missed it for so long!
It’s like being soaked in bath foam all day. How refreshing! Its scent is a second skin that lasts all day until you forget you wore it. But it’s there, you can smell it, feel it, and it makes you feel like a water lily in a pond.
I searched for ages until I finally found it. I guess tastes change with age. It was my perfume during my first year of college, full of idealized memories. Last year I found a 30ml bottle at a good price and didn’t hesitate. I used it about 3 or 4 times, but every time it gave me a terrible headache. I think those aquatic florals from my 20s just don’t work on my skin anymore. I blame the hyacinth. I wish we could get along. For now, there’s only that transparent, clean, and pure bottle left to look at.
Finally found it in Santiago! The reviews made me want to try it since I use the classic one and adore it. I thought they stopped making it, so I’ll give it a shot.
Does anyone know where to get this in Chile? Please, help me, I’d be so grateful. It’s a soft, feminine, and clean scent… a beauty I thought I’d never see again. Thanks and best wishes.
I’d love to have it back. I had it years ago when I was only looking for green florals. I bought it at a summer perfume clearance. What a delight; it was similar to Giorgio’s Aqua but I liked it much more. Fresh and dynamic, it changed my mood the moment I applied it. I almost always overapplied it because its delight didn’t let me settle for one or two sprays. It transported me to a place surrounded by water and nature. If anyone knows a dupe, please let me know. In Chile, many are obsessed with Eau de Edén.
I’d love to have it again. I owned it years ago when I was only into green florals. I picked it up at a summer perfume sale. What a delight—it reminded me of Aqua di Giò, but I preferred this one. Fresh and energizing, it instantly lifted my mood the moment I applied it. I almost always overapplied it; its sheer delight made one or two sprays feel insufficient. It transported me to a place surrounded by water and nature. If anyone knows of a dupe, please let me know. In Chile, there are many Eau D’Eden lovers.
Why does something so delicious fade so quickly? What an incredible scent this fragrance has! Freshness, vitality, joy. It had such a beautiful color that just looking at it made me want to dive into the sea on crisp summer mornings, where I used to wear a turquoise blue dress with white polka dots. Please bring back Eau D’Eden, please.
Why does something so delicious have to end so soon? What a scent this fragrance had—freshness, vitality, joy. It had such a beautiful color that just looking at it made me want to jump into the sea on crisp summer mornings, wearing my turquoise polka-dot dress. Come back, Eau D’Eden! Please, come back!
Beautiful fragrance from my youth that I haven’t found since; if I ever come across it, I’d buy it again. It’s wonderful—sweet, fresh, and delicious. It had incredible longevity and sillage. Perfumes from the 90s were just magnificent; nothing compares today.

After begging a girl I bought testers for, she finally got me one a few months ago, and I’m absolutely thrilled. I didn’t remember the incredible longevity it has. The clothes still smell like it the next day. It’s a marvel despite the name ‘Eau’; maybe the name leads people to think it will be soft and short-lived, but it’s nothing like that. Honestly, it’s really hard to find…
After pestering a girl I usually buy testers from at a good price, I finally got mine a few months ago and I’m thrilled. I didn’t remember the incredible longevity it has; I picked up my clothes the next day and they still smelled amazing. A true marvel, despite the name ‘Eau’ misleading people into thinking it would be light and short-lived, which is far from the truth. Honestly, it’s very hard to find.
My best friend from school used to bathe in this perfume when we started high school. Even though she used it excessively, it didn’t bother me because Eau d’Eden is very pleasant, just less intense than the original Eden. A few years ago, when I started collecting scents tied to memories, I thought of her and didn’t hesitate to buy a mini bottle. In my little vial, it smells the same: a juicy peach and nectarine opening that’s a bit plastic, followed by a soft hyacinth. The base notes are almost imperceptible, so I have to reapply every 3 or 4 hours. It’s clearly a summer, youthful, and feminine fragrance; despite its short longevity on the skin, it projects a lot. I still prefer the original Eden, but I’ll enjoy this sample for its joy, which takes me back to those carefree years where the worst thing that happened was falling off your roller skates and everyone laughing. Pleasant: 7/10 Interesting: 5/10 Versatile: 5/10 Original: 5/10
Eau d’Eden opens strong with hyacinth and aquatic iris hints of rose and a spicy carnation but what stands out is that fresh aquatic fruity accord with juicy peaches. It’s very similar to Acqua Di Gio but the pineapple and lily of the valley in Armani make the difference. With its sister scent Eden it’s a different story: this one is sharper with mimosa and water lily and patchouli keeps it from being too similar. They’re opposites which is great because it was born to be light. I’m not searching for it desperately but if I have it I’ll use it perfectly; the trail is subtle and the sillage is just right. I love reading reviews and the nostalgia it evokes—it’s very 90s typical of that era.
It always got me tons of compliments here in Chile. Amazing longevity—lasts all day and lingers on clothes for several days. I really hope they didn’t discontinue it :(.
Bringing this fragrance back is a must for Cacharel; it’s essential in every woman’s vanity fresh and feminine. Wearing it made me feel everything a woman could possibly feel. I’m from Argentina and it hasn’t been available here since 2000. It’s been 23 years and I’m still looking for it.
Let this fragrance return; it’s a demand for Cacharel! It’s essential in any woman’s vanity: feminine and fresh. Wearing this fragrance made me feel how good it feels to feel good. I’m from Argentina; it’s been unavailable here since 2000, 23 years have passed, and I’m still looking for it.
I absolutely loved it. It would have been my signature scent if they hadn’t taken the option away since I wore it for years before being forced to switch. I still have an old bottle and the scent remains just as intact which I enjoy on special occasions. Please bring it back.
Bleeker Street by Bond No. 9 smells almost identical to Eau d’Eden—give it a try and let me know what you think!
