I gave it to my grandmother for Christmas. It’s an intense perfume, perfect for a cold, snowy winter like that year. It brings back memories of warmth with its chypre/oriental touch. I’d love to find it to see if the scent is still the same; if it is, I’d buy it without hesitation.

A beautiful blend of oakmoss, fresh florals, and something musky. Its citrus opening evolves into aromatic, metallic, earthy, moldy, and green moss notes, tied together with balm that finishes on a woody, velvety, warm base. A representative scent of its era. Despite seeming strong, it’s surprisingly fresh, soft, and delicate, like a high-quality artisanal cologne. I’m lucky to have a 3.5 ml miniature and enjoy its lost beauty.
This was my mother’s most memorable perfume; I always wanted it for myself, but it was no longer available. I settled for a small bottle of Calandre, which is also very good, just not quite as much as this older version. If I could find it, I’d buy it without hesitation.
