For a formal event, I needed something worthy of a sharp suit—nothing of those typical fresh fruity scents. After trying several, I settled on this: for a true gentleman, a powerful man over 40 like myself. While it’s not my favorite style, it’s a delight that rounds out any collection. Elegant notes of oud, spices, and cedar dominate, yet it has a freshness that lifts your mood and makes you feel confident. It’s not just that retro, mature vibe that defines this scent; the freshness lasts longer than expected for such a woody lotion. In short, it’s elegant, spicy, and fresh at moments, with addictive potential but not for daily wear. Ideal for men with character, bosses, people who know their personality and style come before pleasing others. I also recommend it for those starting with oud, as the quantity and quality are wearable. At times, it strongly reminds me of Terre d’Hermès, though darker and more elegant. Don’t buy blindly, but if you want something woody, you might fall in love. I wouldn’t recommend it for women despite being marketed as unisex; it feels strictly masculine. Its weak point is that I’ve smelled it before, perhaps in my grandfather’s closet, so while delicious, it’s far from innovative. 9/10: the fragrance I’ll wear every time I put on a suit.
