I had high expectations for this perfume. Coconut? Yes, but in my case, what I perceived at first was smoked bacon with coconut and a slight lactonic trail. Probably if I let it rest, it would improve. Unfortunately, I don’t have the patience for that. After reading many positive reviews, I don’t understand why I smell it this way. But I’m clear: it’s not a perfume for me, I feel it. I tried it.
I just tried a decant and I didn’t like it at all; it’s not what I expected. The rumors about it smelling like wet dog are real. It’s a coconut scent, nothing sweet, with a green or smoky note that gives off a nail polish, rancid coconut, or wet dog vibe. One of the worst fragrances I’ve tried. Not a blind buy; I recommend testing it first. Some people love it and I don’t, so better to be sure before spending.
This perfume is very delicious; it’s a different coconut, meant to stand out. It doesn’t smell like the beach, it’s not extremely sweet; it’s toasted, quite neutral, smelling of coconut with amber, spicy, warm, even smoky notes. I think it’s delicious, but I understand it’s not for everyone, since people usually look for a *beachy* or *very sweet* coconut, and Coconut Leche isn’t that. Thanks to the benzoin note and amber nuances, the longevity is excellent, making it interesting and attractive. I don’t see it for daily use (at least for me); it’s more for outings to surprise people with this delicious scent. I have a huge collection, and nothing I know resembles this, so I don’t think it’s inspired by another perfume. Does it smell like Raffaello bark? Yes, but that scent lasts only 5 seconds. I would have loved for it to last longer. Excellent longevity, presentation, and price. I loved it. If you don’t like coconut, this perfume isn’t for you.
I gave it a week of testing, and it captivated me; it’s now in my top 3 coconut perfumes. It’s a very disruptive, special scent, not for shy people or those used to Victoria’s Secret coconut (which I also love). This coconut is ideal for those who like strong scents and want their perfume to overpower others. *In scent*: authentic toasted coconut. *In longevity*: over 10 hours on skin. *In price*: excellent. I think it will be as controversial as Baccarat Rouge 540; many said it smelled weird, like a dentist’s office, and it ended up being a best-seller. I think Coconut Leche will go the same way. I’m waiting for the brand’s next launches; I love them. IMPORTANT UPDATE: After more than a month and a half, I notice how it changes with the weeks. I liked it when I first opened it, but now I adore it. It has turned into a Raffaello bombshell; the perfume changed drastically, becoming sweet and creamy.
I’ve had this for a week and it’s already in my top 3 coconut scents. It’s a disruptive aroma, nothing like the Victoria’s Secret coconut I also love. Perfect for those who want something bold enough to overpower other people’s perfumes. Smells like authentic toasted coconut. Lasts over 10 hours on skin and the price is excellent. I think it’ll be as controversial as Baccarat Rouge 540; many said it smelled like a dentist’s office before it became a best-seller. Excited for the upcoming launches. UPDATE: After a month and a half, I notice how it evolves. I liked it when I first opened it, but now I absolutely adore it. It’s turned into a Raffaello bonbon, much sweeter and creamier.

It’s an edible coconut, not that beachy sunscreen kind, but a toasted one that I loved because I don’t have anything else that smells like this. I compared it side-by-side with Rio Radiance, and they are totally different; I think it’s original, no copies. You don’t notice the neroli, but the sweet vanilla is there without being overpowering, just what I was looking for. Let’s see what I think next summer! TikTok told me it gets more exquisite after two months, so I’m hoping it oxidizes a bit to show its potential. People asked if it smells like Raffaello, but I haven’t had one in so long I don’t remember. Over time, my perception changed, and now it reminds me of opening a can of coconut. I have videos and reviews on my Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and Blogspot; you’ll find me there as alwaysperfumada.
It’s an edible coconut, not a beachy sunscreen vibe, but toasted. I loved it because I don’t own anything that smells like this. I compared it to Rio Radiance and they are worlds apart. I have a decant of this perfume. I don’t know if others experience this, but in the ‘toasted coconut’ opening, I perceive a bacon-like scent that lingers for a while before fading, leaving behind a pleasant lactonic aroma.
Smells like toasted, almost burnt coconut. Yes, exactly as you read. I tested it before buying, but didn’t give it time to settle. I recommend testing before purchasing. It’s not a blind buy, no matter how much of a coconut fan you are. The first time, eager as I was, I felt the bought and tested versions were different. I smelled burnt plastic, a horror. I’ve grown to like it little by little and now I quite like it. The longevity on skin is disappointing and the projection is short, ending up as an intimate scent. On clothes, however, it lasts longer.

I recommend testing before purchasing; it’s not for blind buys, even if you’re a coconut fan. The first time, I thought the store bottle and tester were different; I smelled burnt plastic, a horror. I started to like it, and now I enjoy it quite a bit. Longevity on skin is disappointing, and projection is short—it feels like an intimate scent—but it lasts longer on clothes.
I always thought I loved coconut scents, but I was wrong with this one. The coconut opening is overwhelming, it clogs the nose, and I even found it repulsive. They say you need to let it mature, but in my experience, it’s unimprovable.
I always thought coconut was a scent I loved, but I was wrong with this one. The opening is overwhelming, it clogs the nose, and I even found it foul-smelling. They say you have to let it macerate for a while and smell it again… I don’t know, on my end, I feel it’s inedible.
Smells terrible, made me want to vomit. I threw it away the moment I saw it; I couldn’t even bear to look at it. A huge disappointment.
It smells terrible; it made me want to vomit. I had to throw it away just by looking at it; I couldn’t even bear to look at it. A huge disappointment.
If you’re a gourmand fan, think twice. The sweet opening hits hard—it screams ‘yummy’—but for all-day wear, it’s too sharp and irritating. It didn’t convince me to buy it; 100ml is way too much for my sweetness limit, even though these are usually my favorites. Great for a room or with a coffee, but it already grossed me out. It reminds me of Creme of Clouds by Fragrance World; one of the two has a hazelnut-like base.
