I bought this and it has the same fragrance as Hypnotic Poison but much softer and lighter. You can smell the white flowers, coconut, vanilla, and a powdery touch. The bottle is gorgeous, made of reddish/pink leather.
I came across this fragrance, ideal for summer. Let me clarify that it has nothing to do with Dior’s Hypnotic Poison; they are very different—I own both, and Hypnotic is my favorite, they don’t resemble each other. As for Crush, I expected something more special, elegant, and chic. I see it as a day-and-night summer scent because the dominant note is coconut, which is so enveloping that I barely notice the white notes. The milky notes feel very light; it’s a milky, creamy coconut, nothing acidic or common. It’s a discreet coconut, weightless. The perfume is flat, it doesn’t evolve; it’s creamy coconut from start to finish. On the plus side, it’s very pleasant, one of those you use when you need freshness and sweetness at the same time. It’s not one of my favorites, but it’s discreet and usually appeals to younger crowds. The bottle is a gem—pink and red leather with gold accents that could evoke the chic side of New York, but clashes with the tropical scent. Neither good nor bad, it does its job: a pretty, discreet, and exquisite bottle that would delight any young girl. The longevity is moderate with a subtle sillage. Crush isn’t my crush, but it could be yours if you love coconut.
I came across this fragrance, which is ideal for summer. Just to clarify, it has nothing to do with Dior’s Hypnotic Poison; they are very different. I own both, and while Hypnotic is my favorite, this one doesn’t resemble it at all. As for Crush, I was hoping for something more special, elegant, and chic. I see it as a summer scent, suitable for day or night, since the dominant note is coconut, which is so enveloping that I barely notice the white notes. I detect the milky notes very subtly; it’s a creamy, milky coconut without any acidity or the usual sharpness. It’s a discreet coconut, nothing heavy. It’s a flat fragrance that doesn’t evolve, remaining creamy coconut from start to finish. On the plus side, it’s very pleasant, one of those scents you wear to feel fresh and sweet at the same time. It’s not one of my favorites, but it’s discreet and tends to please a younger crowd. The bottle is a gem, featuring pink and red leather with gold accents that could evoke the chicest side of New York, although the scent is more tropical. Neither good nor bad, it does its job: a pretty, discreet, and lovely fragrance in its packaging that would delight any young girl. The longevity is moderate and the sillage is discreet. Crush isn’t my thing, but it could be yours if you love coconut.
