Descripción
Amber Empire by French Avenue is a woody oriental fragrance for men. Launched in 2025, this creation unfolds an olfactory pyramid where the top notes are oriental, vanilla, liquor, and cashmere wood; the heart reveals amber, cedar, and sugarcane; and the base settles on tonka bean, sandalwood, musk, and labdanum.

Haven’t smelled the original, but I’d say it meets my expectations. I’m not a pro, just a hobbyist, but the spice, amber, and liquor notes are clearly there. It’s not a scent that turns heads, but French Avenue does it well; you can tell it’s quality. For me, it’s elegant for special occasions, warm, spicy, with a clean and masculine touch. Decent performance: projects for 2 hours, lasts about 12 on skin, and up to 2 days on clothes, no exaggeration. In conclusion, it’s very pleasant, elegant, great for cold weather, with good longevity and quality.
Haven’t smelled the original, but I’m surprised it met my expectations; I’m not an expert, just a hobbyist, but the described notes come through perfectly, especially the spices, amber, and liquor. Vanilla with liquor, a base of blond tobacco, and a subtle touch of nuts. Smells good, nothing more; nothing that turns heads. Ideal for winter and I see it as unisex. They say it’s similar to Clive Christian’s Blonde Amber, but seeing that one costs €565, you realize how many scams exist in this industry. If this Amber Empire is truly that similar, it’s funny that someone would pay that much for something that could be found in Zara’s Tobacco collection, like their 2018 Rich Warm Addictive. They explored that vanilla-liquor-tobacco concept over 5 years ago, and this doesn’t fall short at all. In my case, the performance is mediocre despite it being an extrait: it projects well for the first hour, then fades to skin scent, and by the fourth hour, it’s barely noticeable. The batch is from October 2025; I hope it improves with maceration. If you’re looking for something similar that lasts, projects, and conveys emotion, I don’t know anything better than Habit Rouge Parfum.
