You can detect woods, a touch of spices like cardamom and pepper, and a sweet hazelnut note that makes it warm and balsamic. The balance is top-notch, with a very subtle gourmand wink, like hazelnut chocolate. It’s beautiful, cozy, and even irresistible. Imagine an autumn afternoon with the fireplace crackling, sipping coffee, and sharing sweets; you glance out the window and see yourself as an elegant squirrel. I loved it; I wouldn’t mind owning a bottle. Smelling like this, you can’t go wrong.

Beautiful, pleasant, cozy, and irresistible. Imagine an autumn afternoon, the fireplace crackling, sharing coffee and sweets; you turn around and see your reflection in the window: you are an elegant squirrel. I loved it; I wouldn’t mind having it. Smelling like this, you simply can’t go wrong.
To my nose, Chipmunk starts green, grassy, rough, earthy, and woody, with a very marked hazelnut base and hints of vanilla. Then that green fades, revealing slightly chocolatey and resinous nuances without dominating, until it dries down to something moderately sweet with faint coffee notes and plenty of earthiness. It’s an interesting fragrance, perhaps impactful if you’re not used to artistic scents, but it perfectly recreates the atmosphere of a squirrel. It reminds me of Fat Electrician by ELDO, but it outshines it in every way, and ELDO isn’t a bad house. It’s unisex, daytime-appropriate, suitable for moderate climates and relaxed or semi-formal occasions. I like it quite a bit; it evolves and improves over time, so I could add it to my collection. Worth the price, in my humble opinion. Rating: 8/10
