At first, there’s a hint of wine, but it’s more of an evocation than something real. After five minutes, bar soap takes over. The flowers, especially the rose, are very present with a sweetness I think comes from brown sugar, without any caramel notes. The result is a floral, talcum-powder scent, very feminine for me and not to my liking. Better to test before buying.

At first, a touch of wine that isn’t realistic, just a reminder of wine. After five minutes, it smells like bar soap. The flowers dominate, especially the rose, with a sweetness I believe comes from brown sugar, with no caramel detected. The result is a soapy, floral, talcum-powder scent, very feminine in my opinion, not unisex. I didn’t like it. The best advice is to try it before buying.

I bought it blind and I’m still deciding if it works for me. It’s interesting: at first it smells like alcohol and a wine glass, then the green and cedar come out. I’m not a fan of the floral side, which feels soapy. Later, the sugar appears, but I expected more sweetness, ironically. I prefer the dry down, softer with the raspberry and sugar, as the green fades. Like many Arab perfumes, it needs time to evolve. It’s elegant, unconventional, and unisex, though the dry down gives it a feminine touch. The trail is moderate and lasts about 7 hours. I love the packaging and that reddish hue reminiscent of wine. I like that brands are experimenting with new things.
