Really rich. Blue Encens is a green, dry, spicy, and clean incense. The incense comes out sharp, white, and smoky, blending perfectly with rosemary to add that fresh spring vibe. There’s plenty of black pepper, but it doesn’t feel harsh or artificial like in Blackpepper; here it adds freshness and just the right spicy kick. As it dries down, the base is slightly sweet and ambered, without any harsh edges. I absolutely loved it: perfect for spring or sunny winters. Captivating freshness without using citrus. Longevity and projection are moderate, but the scent is so good it’s totally worth it. Would I recommend it? Yes, especially if you’re looking for a versatile, approachable, and modern incense. Unisex, though it leans more masculine. Best for people in their 20s and up.

Absolutely spectacular. One of the few perfumes that make me fall in love at first whiff. It’s a metallic, dry incense that gains a green note thanks to rosemary, dominating from start to finish, with spices playing a supporting role. Think of it like a Loewe 7 where the apple is replaced by the green of rosemary. Moderate performance: it projects strongly at first but settles down quickly. Sillage and longevity are decent, nothing extraordinary. It’s not a masterpiece in terms of complexity or duration, but the blend has completely enchanted me. By far the best in the ‘Blue’ collection, leaving the others in the dust. A must-have for incense lovers.

Spectacular. One of the few perfumes that make me fall in love at first sniff. It’s a metallic, dry incense that gains a green tone thanks to rosemary, dominating from start to finish. Everything is nuanced with minor spices. Imagine a Loewe 7 where they swap the apple for the green of rosemary. Performance is moderate: it projects powerfully but settles down quickly. Sillage and longevity are decent, nothing more. It’s not a marvel in terms of complexity or duration, but the blend has completely enchanted me. From a distance, it’s the best in the ‘Blue’ collection, leaving the others cold. A must-have for incense lovers.

  4. I don’t usually review test sprays, but I’ll make an exception. I was craving this Blue Encens, and since it’s from CdG, I expected quality. The ingredients definitely denote quality. The opening shows incense, cardamom, and cinnamon effortlessly. It’s a fresh scent, nothing baroque; it transports you to a modernist church, a candle, to tranquility. The big downside is that the scent is as good as it is volatile. It’s the perfume that lasted the least on my skin, not even close to the skin. It fades in about 30 minutes, making it disposable for me. I recommend trying it and hoping it’s just my skin; it’s worth smelling its aura.

Super original and magical, it transports you. Clean, mineral, fresh, and spicy, yet also sweet, balsamic, and deep. Very similar to Zagorsk. If you’re curious, give it a try for 2 or 3 days and experience it yourself—it’s better than reading online reviews. Don’t judge it at first sniff; like all great perfumes, it depends on your chemistry to bring it to life.
