Black Cherry from Perfumería hits the sweet spot between Tom Ford’s Lost Cherry and Cherry Smoke. It features that natural, authentic cherry note found in Cherry Smoke, but without the heavy, dark leather undertones. It’s slightly sweeter than Cherry Smoke, yet it avoids the cloying sweetness of Lost Cherry. You can also detect hints of incense, patchouli, and a touch of citrus; as it develops, it dries down into something more woody and dry. The opening is powerful but softens beautifully over time. By the end of the day, the cherry remains present, accompanied by incense, almond, and even a whisper of citronela (like lemon tea). If you’re a fan of Tom Ford’s cherry scents, Black Cherry is an absolute must-buy. It’s incredibly well-crafted, plus it’s a seasonal release available only in winter!
