This Bespoke is a real statement. The blend of bitter rum, tobacco, and cypress is a hit with everyone. As it dries down, the leather really shines through, adding an elegance and sophistication you don’t expect. Even if they don’t say it, it smells like incense or smoke, perhaps confused with that aromatic cypress. It stands out from current trends: it’s an unusual, challenging, and original scent. If you want to smell different, this is the one.
Amidst so many perfumes that fade quickly without personality, this one has an obligation to stand out for men 40 and up. Wonderful, masculine, and full of character. Abstain, you sweet-toothed kids thirsty for scents to dance techno until dawn. It was love at first sight: I bought it, and it’s still my favorite of 2024.
Surprising. A sober, adult, and modern fragrance, far from the posturing of those who haven’t accepted their age or learned from experience. Ideal for someone used to shaving and understanding that at 18, women aren’t just ‘bodies’ for compliments or money; this is your scent. A safe buy for adults. No sweetness or outdated notes; everything is well-calibrated to avoid the eccentricity of the past or the youthfulness of the present. I don’t detect the rum, but the vetiver, leather, cypress, and tobacco with a fresh hint of cilantro that lasts just long enough for the stars to shine are worth it. Good price, though I’d wish for more longevity and projection given how well it’s crafted. Either way, worth a try.
I didn’t have a trained nose at first; initially, I noticed citrus acidity, then wood and vetiver at the end and close to the skin, all good. On the second test on skin, I finally understood the difference with the cypress: it’s sharp, greener and woodier than a citrus, with hints of smoky incense in the first hour. I like it; it fits as a personal scent, has warmth, and is versatile for the office or casual wear, though better suited to cool climates than summer. At €50 for 100ml, a fragrance with this weight and quality is a steal.
