A classic, the best thing apart from Mary Kay. I discovered it years ago and couldn’t figure out what it was until I smelled it again, and I never stop choosing it. It’s hypnotic for me; the ripe fruits and balm balance it perfectly for the office or a party. It reminds me of Calvin Klein’s Eternity: mysterious, feminine, and sexy, but not too musky. The top note lasts about 20 minutes, then the lotus flower and blueberries become strong with a touch of neroli. It’s not just the soft fig note. This lasted about 2 hours. Upon entering the scent, it leaves a clean blend of lotus powder, sandalwood, and a slight suggestion of neroli and musk. It’s enchanting! It lasts close to 6 hours, has excellent longevity, and smells like a classic floral with white flowers, wood, fruits, and powder. It doesn’t seem as intense as some reviews suggest, but I’m very attached to the intense perfumes I use. I love the bottle design; the colors add interest to my vanity. It feels good in hand and sprays easily.
Agree with the previous review. I don’t use Avon or Mary Kay perfumes, but a friend had this Belara and I absolutely loved it. She told me she sells them, and to be honest, it’s the only one in my humble collection. It smells rich, refined, and pleasant with sandalwood and musk; on my skin, it’s like a caress. I finished a bottle and already bought another. It’s delicious and I recommend it!
Agree with the previous reviews, but this one feels more nocturnal. I don’t wear it daily, and when I bought the 212 Classic for women, it smelled identical to this, so I gave the rest to my mom.
I’m not going to go on too much… just to say that I LOVE THIS PERFUME. What a pleasant surprise! It’s very good for a catalog fragrance (they generally aren’t high quality, but that’s the reality). It’s identical to 212, I love it haha. I bought it because I remember smelling it as a girl and being enchanted by it, looking for comments that said it was similar. I don’t remember the fragrance so I can’t confirm if it’s exactly the same or not, but what I do confirm is that it smells like 212 but a bit sweeter, and the best part is its longevity: it lasts hours, which doesn’t happen with all perfumes. A great buy!
I won’t go on, just let you know that I LOVE THIS PERFUME, what a pleasant surprise! It’s very good for a catalog scent (you know they’re usually mid-range quality). It’s identical to 212, I love it haha. I was looking for it because I remember smelling it as a girl and loving it, but since I don’t remember the exact name, I can’t confirm if it’s that one. What I do know is that it smells like 212 but a bit sweeter. The best part is its longevity; it lasts me hours, which doesn’t happen with all perfumes. A hit, people!
Fresh and delicious for everyday wear. It has quite good longevity; I bought it based on the reviews, and honestly, it didn’t disappoint. It smells exactly like the classic 212; my aunt had it, and it’s the same.
They gave it to me a few days ago and honestly, it’s very delicious. It’s a pity it doesn’t leave a trail, but it lasts quite a while on the skin. That said, it’s more for spring or summer, maybe winter too, who knows hehe. But it’s exquisite.
They gifted it to me a few days ago, and honestly, it smells divine. The only downside is it doesn’t leave much of a trail, but it stays right on the skin all day. Perfect for spring or summer, maybe even winter too, hehe. It’s exquisite!
Fragrantica, how intoxicating. If a woman wants to charm a man, she should wear this on her first date. I can’t believe this Mary Kay gem is so little known. I have no words to describe the feelings I get when someone walks by wearing this fragrance. A little for work or school, and a bit more for a date, and it’s a ten.
Intoxicating. If women want to charm a man on a first date, wear this. I can’t believe this Mary Kay gem is so little known. I don’t have the words to describe the beautiful sensations it generates when a woman passes by me wearing this fragrance. Applying a little works for work or university; applying a bit more is a 10 for dates.
I’ve never tried a Mary Kay fragrance (nor did I have much faith in them), but the reviews about Belara encouraged me to recapture the scent of my beloved Eau d’Eden by Cacharel. What a pleasant surprise! I can’t compare them side by side, but Belara lives up to my olfactory memory of Eau d’Eden. It transports me to another era. It’s a special composition, decidedly sweet due to the fig, which stands out on my skin, but also floral and slightly aquatic. The longevity is very good and the trail is moderate. Although I used to wear it year-round, now I see this scent is more suitable for spring and summer, perhaps early autumn. I’m delighted! Well done, Mary Kay. Scent 9/10, Longevity 8/10, Sillage 8/10, Value 8/10, Versatility 7/10, Packaging 7/10. Would I buy it again? Yes.
I’ve never trusted Mary Kay before, but after reading Belara’s review, I decided to try their Eau d’Eden by Cacharel again, and what a surprise: it smells like my memories. It’s sweet from the fig, floral, with a watery touch. It lasts a long time and leaves a moderate sillage. I’m now wearing it in spring and summer, even though I used to wear it all year round. Absolutely in love! Scent 9/10, longevity 8/10, sillage 8/10, value 8/10, versatility 7/10, packaging 7/10. Yes, I would buy it again.
Aquatic, fresh, and sensual. You can wear it without issues on a daily basis; it’s a pleasant and elegant aroma.
The illustrated notes are missing cotton and chamomile, which are very present in this delicious and fresh fragrance. Right away, the aquatic notes from the lotus flower emerge, followed suddenly by hints of musk and blueberries. As it moves into the heart notes, you can detect neroli, lily, and chamomile. I still can’t detect the fig after an hour. After three hours, it seems I start to perceive it, but by then it’s the last scent remaining. For a perfume, I must say most of the notes didn’t last long, although a sweet, powdery dry down persisted until I went to sleep, meaning about six more hours. For the price, it’s not bad at all. Below are the full notes of the PERFUME, which is actually very well done considering it has the price of an Eau de Toilette. Top notes: St. Joachin Fig, Blueberries, Lotus Flower, Pittosporum. Middle notes: Stargazer Lily, South Indian Nardos, Winter Bell, Chamomile Petals, Golden Acacia Flowers. Base notes: White Birch Bark, Sandalwood, Cotton Musk.
One of my favorites; I have a love-hate relationship with this fragrance because I’m so fascinated by its scent: it’s so elegant, sensual, mysterious, and very feminine. My only complaint is that it doesn’t last on me at all. I could bathe in it and the scent would vanish in minutes. I’ve only bought it twice. The second time, I decided not to finish it and just keep it as a memento of my first kiss. Every time I want to remember my one true love, I smell the bottle. But I don’t use it on myself anymore; it’s useless, the fragrance never really sticks to me.
This was my mother’s perfume, which she alternated with Amarige. I was struck by its complexity: a dark, non-sweet scent, kind of a modernized vintage. It projected for meters and lasted forever; it was one of those fragrances that seemed to arrive before you did. It was also oily, which added to its longevity. Perfect for winter and crisp autumn days, leaning more toward evening wear, quite elegant. I’m not sure if it’s changed today, but I’m certain this perfume makes a woman look exquisite in an instant. Excellent.
Top-quality fragrance, nothing synthetic, no wonder it’s been on the market for years. It’s very similar to Carolina Herrera’s 212, but once it dries down, it takes a different direction: 212 smells like clean soap, while this one is more formal.
