It’s a wearable fragrance with a dry lotus note that evolves into wood with an ethereal jasmine. At first, it seems generic, with creamy touches, but in its evolution and dry-down, it has charm, with an elegant old-school base. Wearable for any age, semi-formal or formal style. Feminine, subtle, and with good performance. It seems that after the failure of Untold, Elizabeth Arden stepped up to the plate with this rich fragrance, of subtle but persistent elegance. Good perfume.
Out of all the ‘Fifth Avenue’ versions, this is the most romantic and seductive; it reminded me a bit of Red Door. It’s good for those looking for something neither too soft nor too strong; it stays in a medium range for projection and longevity.
It’s on my wrist and I can’t stop smelling it. It’s subtle but with presence. The lily balances the roses, which aren’t my thing, and the balance is exquisite. The musk doesn’t smell chemical; I love it. It smells sophisticated, and the cedar gives it character. I’m glad it’s a good EDP and not just marketing fluff. In my opinion, it’s undervalued, and my wallet appreciates it.
To me, this is the daughter of R.L. Woman, but much more wearable. It has that delicate and elegant touch without the intrusive neroli of the original; here, the valley lilies give it a green, fresh side. I’ve worn it since 6:50 a.m., and at 4:00 p.m., it’s still on my skin and clothes. It’s rich, nothing annoying, sweet floral and fresh, ideal for spring-summer. It feels like a smoothie between Woman and 5th Avenue; in fact, it reminds me of both. If you like Woman but the neroli overwhelms you, and you like 5th Avenue but it’s too floral, this modern, lighter, and fresher version is what you’re looking for.
