  I had high hopes, but upon testing it, it smelled like nail polish mixed with bubblegum. It’s way too synthetic, and honestly, it’s a total letdown.

  I know what they mean by ‘smells like a new doll.’ This smells like what Barbie would wear if she had perfume: sweet, bordering on cloying, with hints of strawberry bubblegum. Despite that, I find it delicate and elegant. At first, it didn’t grab me (I’m not a sweet tooth), but I ended up restocking it, which says everything about how special I think it is. By the way, compared to Snow Fairy, this is less ‘beast mode,’ more refined, though they share that bubblegum vibe.

  Oh, I expected more :’) In this case, I don’t think it was an expectations issue… It smells good, that’s undeniable, but it lacks the charisma that Rose Jam has, and that Barbie✨ should have ((all this from my perspective, of course🤷🏻♀️)).

  It’s like Snow Fairy and Vanillary had a baby; it’s beautiful. On my skin, tonka bean takes over and makes my mouth water—a rich gourmand that I wish the brand would make permanent. It’s a creamy, buttery delight that will get applause from sweet lovers ^_^.

  It smells like an acid strawberry lollipop with bubblegum inside, which I used to eat when I was little and was called Kojak (I don’t know if they still make it). I don’t understand why they don’t list strawberry among the notes, since that’s what it smells like the most. I agree with the previous review: there’s a slightly plastic background scent, I suppose to pay homage to the doll, but it has its charm and isn’t excessive. You can detect almonds and vanilla in the background, but the magic is that acid strawberry with bubblegum that accompanies from start to finish. Between Snow Fairy from the same house and Pink Sugar by Aqualina, they give me cavities to the max.

  HI BARBIE 🍓🍓🍓🍓 (again). If you grew up with playdough tubs and acid strawberry bubblegum, this Lush scent will take you back to those sweet and synthetic… yet irresistible memories. From the first moment, a powerful strawberry bubblegum chord explodes over a vanilla base reminiscent of Vanillary, with that dense, almost sticky touch that lasts for hours. As expected, the Lush DNA is present: Snow Fairy for the cloying marshmallow and American Cream for the whipped strawberry and vanilla creaminess. Over time, the composition balances out, losing some of that initial synthetic character and moving closer to the softness of American Cream, but without losing its openly gourmand nature. I see it as ideal for special occasions, because its sweetness can cloy me in daily life, and even less so in a formal context. But if you’re fascinated by sugary, candy-like scents with that playful touch, here you have a candy in perfume format. By the way, there’s a body spray version, although it seems it hasn’t reached Spain yet. Both are limited editions, so if it tempts you, don’t wait. 🍓🍓🍓🍓

  It has a very marked opening with a bubblegum scent, a very sweet pink bubblegum with cotton candy nuances to make a big pom-pom. After a while, I notice a creaminess that makes me think of coconut. In the dry-down, although it keeps that constant bubblegum aroma, it starts to become slightly incense-like. It has moderate sillage and lasts about 8-9 hours. I liked it mostly at the beginning, but it didn’t leave me wanting to buy more. So, although I enjoyed it on the day I tried it thanks to the Lush sales associate, I won’t be buying it. Scent 6/10, Longevity 8.5/10, Sillage 7/10, Value 7/10, Versatility 6/10, Packaging 5/10. Would I buy again? No.
