  Baladin is a green leather scent reminiscent of Dzongkha, but beware: they’re not the same! They share that terpene-like, fresh, sharp character from the green and leathery notes, resulting in a very strange finish, which is probably why I’m hooked. Beyond the scent itself, Baladin stands out as different, rare, and super original thanks to that fresh green leather vibe, similar to Duel, though the latter is much softer, kinder, and more wearable than Baladin or Dzongkha. When I smell Baladin, I sense its dreamlike, surreal essence, always linking it to cold, dangerous forests of birch and bamboo, with a couple of silent felines lurking in the shadows. I’d define it as an olfactory experience: strange, unsettling, wooded, leathery, animalistic, and highly attractive, at least to my nose. It’s a cult fragrance rather than a daily wear, maintaining a deliberately unbalanced olfactory profile that seeks out the most challenging and primal aspect of the wearer. It’s linear, distinctly masculine, with moderate longevity and a powerful sillage for the first two hours, before settling into a more comfortable dry-down thanks to a vanilla-musk base that adds a faint sweet, honeyed, and gentle facet, creating a nice skin sillage.
