  • A very ‘shocking’ perfume by P. de Nicolai. I’d basically define it as ‘liquorous.’ It has a subtle citrus note that quickly blends with licorice and star anise, creating an explosive sweet syrup aroma. Later, a very spicy note appears, perhaps cumin, mixed with flowers and tobacco. Finally, patchouli and oakmoss emerge, with that typical hay scent characteristic of the brand. This final phase is quite soft. The quality is very high and olfactorily fascinating (though intensely so). I found it good and special, although personally, I see it as very niche. Longevity and sillage are quite good.

A truly unique perfume. At first, my nose and brain play tricks on me: it smells like celery with a cube of Maggi broth. After a few seconds, that perception shifts, and I detect licorice, anise, a spiced base with cumin, and a citrus touch. By the ten-minute mark, the full composition emerges. It’s rare, green, and spicy (cumin, lavender), with woods appearing in the heart. I was left confused by the blend of notes and the final result. It feels like a mix between Fate and Braken Man by Amouage. An original aroma with strong presence and a classic style. It’s not heavy or beastly, but it’s noticeable; not dark, more bright. In my opinion, it works for any season, though I don’t see it as a winter scent. It divides people: love it or hate it at first sniff. Best for mature men over 30, confident, suited for semi-formal and formal wear. Scent: 8/10, Sillage: 9/10, Longevity: 8.5/10, Projection: 9/10.

  • Very sweet opening, not my vibe right now. Once it dries down, there’s a rich tobacco note, but the sweetness lingers and prevents me from enjoying it. I haven’t tried it on skin yet, but it seems promising. I’d love to smell it on a woman’s skin.
