Sweet roses with oud wood, I get the intention of the fragrance, but that typical fixative found in Arab perfumes saturates my nose and turns me off. I couldn’t wear it, so I gave it away. Always better to try before buying.

Floral rose with a flawless oud, sweet and classic like the niche original. Projection and sillage are top-notch, but what really stands out is the longevity: it beat my 20-hour mark. Ideal for women on dates, outings, or special events. Great fragrance with good price and performance.

On my wife, it smells exquisite, for real. On me, it transforms into something citrusy and masculine that I absolutely love. The first day I thought it smelled like an old lady, but once I got close to it, I loved it to the max. What a spectacle! Not for guys with a kid’s nose.

My first Arab fragrance; I was looking for roses and oud because a friend has the Maison Alhambra Alh’oud and I loved it, so I tried this. It’s not the same, in fact, it’s super different; at first it smells like a woman’s lipstick, typical cherry flavor, but as it dries down it becomes spectacular: lots of rose, pink pepper, and an oud that makes it darker. I see it as more feminine, I’d love for my girlfriend to wear it. Great purchase for scent, longevity, and price, nothing to object to.

Bestial projection and longevity, one drop is worth six or eight of others. The rose is done right; at first it sounds like a classic lady’s perfume, but then a sweet and smoky wave comes through that balances everything.

I tried it to see if I’d get hooked. It’s not bad, but honestly, it doesn’t do anything for me. The opening didn’t feel fresh; I didn’t detect the bergamot or pink pepper. Instead, it was a fleeting burst of purple grape that vanished in a minute, leaving just the oud wood on my skin all day. The roses never showed up, nor the jasmine, and in the dry down, no amber or vanilla—just that grape opening and the wood sticking to the skin. To my taste, it’s masculine if you’re an oud lover. Definitely a nighttime and winter scent.

On my first wear, it opened smoky with floral and incense notes, quite attractive at first. Then, as it dried down, the smokiness softened and the Turkish rose came out stronger with woody tones. But in the end, the soft vanilla combined with the florals reminded me of my grandmother’s hand creams or older ladies’ colognes. If not for that weird ending, I’d definitely buy it.

Quick note: If you haven’t tried Flamenco or Ramón Monegal (the one without oud), this opening is practically identical. The raspberry is super prominent at first; a single spray completely overwhelms my nose. I’ll update on longevity later, but the opening features high-quality raspberry. I get that some say it smells like plastic, but it’s the oud, and it’s very wearable. So far, it’s just raspberry, with the rose starting to emerge around the 10-minute mark. The vanilla is there, but way in the background. I think it’s good—not too feminine thanks to the oud, but still wearable. It’s invasive, sensual, and elegant, similar to Flamenco in the opening but slightly below the extrait. It gives me headaches, probably from wearing it up close all the time.

It’s become a little gem I can’t stop recommending, even though I know it won’t suit everyone. It’s unisex, but with a masculine twist—dark, enveloping, and perfect for intense scents. The opening is an explosive burst of pink pepper and bergamot, spicy and citrusy. Then comes the floral heart with Turkish rose and jasmine, dark and mysterious yet still firm. The base of oud, amber, and vanilla is hypnotic; the oud is elegant, softened by creamy vanilla, while the amber adds depth. The trail is powerful and long-lasting. It’s not versatile for heat or the office, but for night outs or cool weather, it’s an olfactory bomb that commands respect. It doesn’t smell cheap; many compare it to expensive niche fragrances. Lattafa really broke the mold with this. Amethyst is a precious stone.

Bought it based on the good reviews, looking for something potent with great sillage, but it was a total fiasco. Smells like artificial roses, more like a bath deodorant. I wouldn’t recommend it; honestly, no other Arabic fragrance has convinced me yet—they’re all too synthetic. For me, the French are still the kings.

Amethyst is a powerful unisex bomb of roses and oud, not for everyone. If you love roses, this isn’t for you, but if your style is more daring, it’s perfect. It’s beautiful and very long-lasting, though not inherently feminine. Out of the whole Bade’e Al Oud line, Honor & Glory takes the crown.

A unisex fragrance featuring a bold rose under a cloak of oud. It’s exquisite, the kind I keep on my hand just to smell. If I wear it out, I feel a bit like Dracula; it’s a very gothic perfume.

On my skin, it smells like sweet raspberry with citrus notes. It lasts forever and has earned me plenty of compliments.

It’s a strange fragrance, don’t buy it blindly because it’s pure woody rose and it’s controversial (some say it smells like a funeral, I’m not sure if I feel that, but I do notice it’s particular). It’s outside my comfort zone and very unique, yet rich at the same time. The longevity is impressive: one pump lasts literally two days, it doesn’t fade even after showering. I’ve never tried a perfume at this price point that lasts this long.

I’m obsessed with this; it breaks the mold. I wear it to surprise people, to show my own personality. It creates intrigue because you have to figure out where it fits. A safe rotation for the fresh season ahead; I bank on this one heavily. I shared it with my partner, and I think it suits her better than me.
