I tested it on my skin because, when smelling the bottle, its spicy and amber scent stood out the most among the house’s four options. Big mistake; on my skin, it turned into an overly sweet, ultra-synthetic coffee-and-vanilla accord that makes me nauseous, and it stayed exactly like that until the next day. It has good longevity and projection, lasting even through a couple of hand washes. It’s a unisex fragrance for cold weather, but it smells like so many others in this category: cloyingly sweet with a coffee note that reminds me more of coffee with cigarette ash. In fact, the first thing that came to mind was Black Opium, a perfume I can’t stand, although BO seems less unpleasant to me. Pleasant: 3/10 Interesting: 3/10 Versatile: 7/10 Original: 4/10
