I bought it expecting a rum and coconut scent, but in the end, it smells more like sunscreen.
Aramis Bermuda Tonic instantly transports you to the beach: piña colada, sunscreen, and that salty ocean breeze. It’s rare and special; the marine note (Calone C11) is very prominent and evolves with the heat, breaking conventions until it sounds unisex. I’m reminded of a tropical shore with the breeze, the scent of a good tan, palm trees, and a caipirinha. If you’ve had amazing vacations abroad, this perfume takes you right there. You can clearly detect the coconut, rum, marine notes, floral touches, woods, eucalyptus menthol, bergamot, and saffron; the coconut is wandering around but very pleasant. Watch out, this has nothing to do with Cool Water or Ferragamo Blue—Bermuda Tonic raises the bar with its coconut and sea vibes. The longevity is about 6 hours; I wish it were an EDP, but there’s a reason the specialists created it as is. The marine note is intense thanks to Calone C11, an unusual scent that emits a strong ocean breeze with light floral tones, used since the 80s for its fresh ozone aquatic accords and dominant in marine-trend perfumes since the 90s.
Aramis Bermuda Tonic instantly transports you to the beach: piña colada, sunscreen, and that salty ocean breeze. It’s something very special and rare; the marine note from Calone C11 is very marked and evolves with the heat, breaking the rules until it sounds unisex. It reminds me instantly of a tropical shore with that sea breeze, the smell of a great tan, palm trees, and a caipirinha. If you’ve been on tropical vacations abroad and lived it to the fullest, this perfume takes you there immediately. Here, the coconut, rum, marine notes, floral touches, woods, eucalyptus menthol notes, bergamot, and saffron feel great; the coconut is always wandering around but very pleasant. Watch out, it’s very different from a Cool Water or Ferragamo Blue—it has nothing to do with them. Here, Bermuda Tonic, with its coconut and marine notes, elevates it to another segment. While its longevity is 6 hours and I would have liked it to be an EDP, there’s a reason it was created by specialists. The marine note is very marked by Calone C11, an unusual scent created to emit that intense ocean breeze with light floral tones, used since the 80s for its fresh ozone aquatic accords and usually dominant in marine-trend perfumes since the 90s.
