  Just finished the bottle of Martinique and I’m taking it with me full of nostalgia. It’s an exquisite scent, but being a cologne, it’s quite volatile. After two hours it starts to fade, and by four there are barely any traces left on the skin. It smells like the sea, super fresh, elegant, and clean—like a Caribbean vacation with sunscreen on and a piña colada in hand. What a pity, since I had to apply up to ten sprays to make it last a bit longer, and even then the projection just dropped off. I’m curious to try the other Tommy Bahama scents; they’re surely amazing, but I prefer something with better longevity.

  This fragrance is a delight with those marine notes and that fresh touch of citrus and lavender. Very casual yet elegant, perfect for the heat and works great in climates above 25 degrees. For an eau de Cologne, it has a good performance of four to five hours. Excellent value for money.

  I love it. It’s ideal for the heat, outdoor activities, or something super casual. I’m very happy with the purchase and prefer it over more expensive options. No complaints at all; people of all ages and genders always ask what I’m wearing.

I bought it again recently, but I feel it smells more like alcohol than the first time. I’ve heard it’s been discontinued, which is a shame. I recommend it for men between 18 and 30 years old.

  Martinique is perfect for summer. It features plenty of aquatic notes, great projection, and a trail lasting over six hours. Wearing it instantly transports you to the beach by the sea. It’s better than Tommy Bahama’s St Barts, offering more longevity and a richer scent for me. A solid summer fragrance from 2015.
