I bought this fragrance today: it’s very fresh and sweet without being cloying, perfect for wearing during the day. What lasts longest on my skin is the raspberry, apple, and rose scent. It’s delicious, not an arrogant aroma or cheap cologne. It’s perfect for the office or school to feel fresh and clean.

I saw the ad, fell in love with the packaging and the fuchsia color, and thought it would be similar to Shakira’s floral. I went to heaven and hell to get it since it was out of stock. But once I finally had it, I didn’t really like it. It smells like red berries, but at first, it reminded me of a child’s crayon. After a few hours, the scent changes and becomes softer.
I saw the ad, fell in love with the packaging and the fuchsia color. I thought it would be similar to Shakira’s floral and went crazy trying to get it since it was out of stock. But once I finally got it, I actually didn’t like it that much. It smells like red berries, but at first, it reminded me of a kids’ marker. After a few hours, the scent changes and becomes much softer.
I’ve been wearing this fragrance for almost two years; it was a birthday gift and I fell in love at first sight. It’s one of the first in my collection: fruity and floral notes that aren’t annoying. I like that sweet, almost synthetic touch, like caramel without going overboard. It’s the sexiest version of the previous Elixirs, a limited edition no longer sold, but if you want it, buy Love Rock by Shakira—it’s identical. It seems they recycle formulas. It has a wide sillage, doesn’t bother or invade others’ space. I wear it to the office and no one says anything. A fragrance without complications and fun.

I tried it and was hooked immediately: fruity and floral, but with a watery touch that keeps it fresh and far from overly sweet. I loved the dry-down and got compliments from everyone. I used half a bottle (way too much!), but eventually switched to other perfumes, though I kept it because it was a limited edition. One day my friend smelled it, fell in love with it, and I gifted it to her. She finished it and wanted to repurchase. I told her it was discontinued and found her a substitute: Love Rock by Shakira. It’s almost identical! I say it’s the same juice in a permanent line. My friend will be the ultimate test, and she confirmed they smell the same. What a shame the Elixir bottle is so beautiful and the Rock one is so ugly…
I owned this, loved it the moment I smelled it, and bought it without hesitation: fruity-floral, fresh, and energizing, without the sweetness overpowering. Maybe it’s better to say the sweetness was balanced by a bright, aquatic accord. I adored the dry-down and received compliments from both men and women. I used 50ml of the bottle (a lot!). After a while, as I acquired other perfumes, I drifted away from it. I kept it because it was a limited edition. But a year ago, a friend smelled it, fell in love, and I gave it to her. Now she’s run out and wanted to buy another. I told her it’s discontinued and found her a similar one. Where did I find it? Right next to Shakira on the shelf: Love Rock is muuuuuuyyy similar; I’d almost dare to say it’s the same juice relaunched in a permanent collection… My friend will be the ultimate test, hahaha. We’ll see in a few days when she tries it. June 2020 – 4 months later, my dear friend told me she bought it and indeed, they are almost identical, hahaha. Too bad the Elixir line packaging is so, so beautiful, while the Rock line packaging is quite ugly…
