  Starts with citrus and cypress, followed by soft lavender. This opening lasts only 10–20 minutes before softening into a clean, woody, spicy scent that clings gently to the skin. It has a low sillage and moderate longevity—maybe up to 6 hours on the skin, so I recommend reapplying every 4 hours. It’s clearly summery, clean, and soft. The price-to-quality ratio is decent ($14 for 30 ml), but it doesn’t last long and isn’t particularly novel. Best for daytime, casual wear. It lacks the longevity, sillage, and sophistication of its older siblings: Animal and Animal Intense.

  As my colleague says, it’s for warm days. I apply it over unscented moisturizer to boost and extend the trail. On my skin, it’s a citrus layer softened by a musk base.

  Tempting? Not even close. Animale has never been a benchmark in perfumery; this fragrance isn’t revolutionary, but it is contemporary. The longevity is short, about 3 hours, and the sillage is weak too, but it smells good and it’s cheap. Animalé Intense is much better in every way and sells for a fair price. It doesn’t smell bad, but I wouldn’t recommend it. 2/5
