I was surprised to find out it doesn’t have incense, which was the most noticeable element on my skin. It reminds me of the smell of artisan fairs in Chile; it’s rich, but quite dense.

I owned this decades ago when I was around 20. Now that I remember the scent, it seems way too mature for my age back then. I picked the purple cap version just because the green one was so popular among the girls in my office, and I wanted to stand out.

A true 90s delight that smells like a vintage floral relic; it has that little note that makes it feel timeless, maybe the freesia. It’s certainly very strong and lasts forever on the skin—the scent just won’t fade. It’s floral and even more floral, with faint echoes of Perry Ellis 360. Even though it doesn’t contain honey, on my skin it smells like honey and flowers, so sweet and rich with my pH. I really like it and plan to buy more bottles.

I bought it blind; for me, it’s too goth. The typical 90s smell.

Honestly, I loved the scent, but it gave me headaches. It’s incredible that it’s still in production.

I liked it on paper and bought it without testing it on my skin because the store had no testers and didn’t allow spraying on skin. Huge mistake! When I got home, super happy, I sat down to try it, opened the bottle, sprayed my wrist, and… Roarrrrrrrrr, Grrrrrrr, the beast roars! Truly, this fragrance lives up to its name: it smells animalistic, like a caged or dead animal, haha. The Fragrantica description lists simple ingredients like freesia, peach, lemon, oakmoss, and bergamot, but I’m almost certain its fixative contains some animal extract that amplifies on my skin, becoming almost feline, like foul, intolerable sweat. I’ve never had to run to the bathroom to wash and rub my wrist obsessively to make the smell disappear, which I couldn’t do; the unpleasant aroma persisted until the next day, with only a timid hint of freesia and peach barely perceptible amidst the stench. It made me very sad, and I didn’t know what to do with the full bottle since retesting was unthinkable. Fortunately, at work, I was chatting with a friend who adores it; I couldn’t believe what I heard, so I organized a ‘perfume tasting’ with her and others, and I confirmed that on her, the scent wasn’t strong or unpleasant like in my case. Finally, I gifted her the perfume. I’m glad I found it a new home where it will be appreciated, plus we had a blast at the perfume party exploring the miracle of human skin and the complex interaction of fragrances. I think I infected my friend a bit with my passion, and I hope it spreads.

A very typical 90s fragrance… intense, fruity-floral with a powerful trail, yet still ‘fresh’ in a way. It smells like a freshly showered woman with honey soap, then peach cream, hair smelling of floral shampoo and conditioner. The sweetness of freesia with peach takes over (for moments it smells like honey, but not cloying), combined with oakmoss. You barely feel a touch of lime in the opening. Considering it smells good, its longevity, and a trail that won’t leave anyone indifferent; it’s a good option for lovers of these characteristics. I think it would go well in cold weather, to add a bit of warmth… like dew after a shower, especially around the head; without over-spraying, I think it would be comforting.
