  • A perfume delight. It won’t have beast-mode longevity, but it’s so pleasant that it’s a joy to wear. Lasts several hours on my skin. You notice the alcohol upon application, but it evaporates instantly. I like it more than CDNI and Vibrant Leather (it has better quality than Zara’s).

  • A delight, though not a monster in terms of longevity. The alcohol fades quickly, leaving pure pleasure behind. I love it more than CDNI and Zara’s Vibrant Leather; it simply has superior quality.

  • Very fresh and pleasant fragrance; you never get tired of wearing it. It’s much less aggressive than CDNI and quite better than Zara’s Vibrant Leather, which feels very thin. The Zara version lacks the smoky depth of CDNI but has decent longevity. I prefer this over those two; I’ve already finished my first bottle and will definitely buy a second. On my skin, it lasts over 6 or 7 hours. For me, it’s one of the best Aventus clones, and at this price, it’s totally worth it.

  • IvanPerfumista

I love it. It belongs to the ‘Aventus-style’ family but is fresher and brighter. Less dark than CDNI and more youthful than Explorer. It has a very pronounced pineapple note and almost no smoke. It’s very cheap in the Middle East, so don’t pay too much for it. Lasts 6 to 8 hours. Highly recommended.

I think it’s a very rich scent. I don’t know the original Aventus, but I’ve tried its clones (Explorer, Vibrant Leather, CDNI), and this smells amazing at an incredible price. If you’re looking for something Aventus-style without knowing the original, this is a great buy.

  • Pity I haven’t tried the original Aventus yet, but I’m on it. I’ve smelled CDNI and Zara’s Vibrant Leather, and this smells just like the Zara one but with more smoke and better longevity. It opens with that smoky pineapple note, which I love. It’s super cheap and smells incredibly rich.

  • Very pleasant, far surpassing CDNI. It also lasts much longer on the skin than the Zara version, whereas Vibrant Leather disappears in no time.

  • Smells fantastic, way better than CDNI, and obviously lasts longer than the Zara version which fades in minutes.

  • What a great Aventus clone; it stands out even above others like Zara’s Vibrant Leather.

I really like this fragrance. I bought it with home delivery along with Najdia. When I moved the box, it sounded loose and metallic, and it smelled like perfume before I even removed the cellophane, so I thought it was broken. I hesitated to open it to claim a replacement, but the urge to spray myself won out. What I heard was a metal keychain tied to the neck that had come loose. I put it on, tightened the wire, and the bottle was perfect. Curiously, the box smelled strongly of perfume. I sprayed it and everything was normal. The scent was amazing—Aventus style, but I liked it a lot having heard the CDNI (two gifted bottles) and the Mont Blanc Explorer. In my opinion, this Al Dur Al Maknoon smells more youthful, a bit more versatile. Longevity is on par with the Mont Blanc, maybe this lasts slightly less, but this Lattafa clone runs around 6 hours, projecting perceptibly for about two. The Mont Blanc causes olfactory fatigue; this one doesn’t. In that sense, this Lattafa is better. Another point is the price: 18,900 Chilean pesos (about 25 dollars) is excellent. Considering it’s 100ml vs. the Mont Blanc 60ml which cost me 40,000 pesos (50 dollars). I think the CDNI lasts a bit longer, but I like its scent less, especially the opening. And the dry-down feels very mature, darker and denser. I find this Lattafa option enchanting. Joyful, a bit bright, playful. More versatile and at a great price. With this, you can apply it happily without overthinking, since it’s affordable and the scent won’t bother anyone even if you spray the whole bottle. Rating: Scent 8/10, an Aventus style that doesn’t disappoint. Packaging 8.5/10, very pretty, though the queen of all Lattafas remains Adeeb for me. Longevity 8/10, within the range for this type of fresh fragrance, and I understand it lasts longer than the original Aventus. Projection 8/10, for the first two hours, then closer to the skin with occasional bursts. Would I recommend? Yes. Would I pay for an Aventus even if I still had money left? Yes. Would I buy it again? Depends, if my tastes haven’t changed and no better option hasn’t come out.

I absolutely love this fragrance. I ordered it with home delivery along with Najdia, but when I moved the box, it sounded loose and metallic; plus, it smelled strong before I even removed the cellophane. I thought it was broken, but decided to open it anyway. Turns out, it was a metal collar tag that had come loose from the wire. Once I adjusted it, the bottle was perfect, although the box smelled like perfume. The scent itself was amazing. It’s Aventus-esque, but I liked it more than CDNI (from two bottles I gifted away) and Mont Blanc Explorer. In my opinion, this Al Dur Al Maknoon smells more youthful and versatile. The longevity is similar to Mont Blanc, about 6 hours with notable projection for the first two. Mont Blanc causes olfactory fatigue; this one doesn’t. Better option. The price is excellent: 18,900 Chilean pesos (around $25 USD) for 100ml, compared to 40,000 for the 60ml Mont Blanc. CDNI lasts a bit longer, but I dislike its opening and its dry-down is too dark and dense for older people. This Lattafa option is enchanting: cheerful, bright, and playful. More versatile and affordable, you can apply it without fear. Rating: Scent 8/10, Presentation 8.5/10 (pretty, though Adeeb remains the queen of Lattafa), Longevity 8/10, Projection 8/10 (first two hours). Recommended? Yes. Would I buy it again? Depends on whether something better doesn’t come out and the product doesn’t get worse.

I owned this cologne and gifted it to my dad. On me, it smelled like very strong smoky leather, so intense it gave me a headache—it’s a beast. My dad loved it; it suits him better and smells better on him. I didn’t know what the original Aventus smelled like; I thought I was finding something fresh, but the scent is very strong.

  • The first time I smelled it, I was grossed out; I only detected an intense cigar ash scent. Then I heard you have to let it macerate, so I put it in the closet for two months… What a surprise when I smelled it again! Now I can smell the leather and pineapple. I haven’t smelled the original Aventus, but it’s a good option if you have patience. I’d give it a 7/10.

  • Manolo1988

Wow, what a surprise. I’ve tried more than 10 Aventus clones, and this is definitely the best, better than Vibrant Leather and Club de Nuit Intense. I need to let it macerate, but it’s an absolute delight…

  • Out of all the Aventus clones I’ve tried, this is undoubtedly the most pleasant and the only one that convinced me. The fruity and leather notes dominate, while the wood and smoke are significantly toned down (in my 2022 batch). Perfect for the office or cloudy days. I wear it at home with Cedrat Boise so it finishes quickly, saving this one for going out.

  • Out of all the Aventus dupes I’ve heard of, this is by far the most pleasant and the only one I actually like. The fruity and leather notes are much more prominent, while the woody and smoky notes are toned down (in this 2022 batch). Perfect for the office, cloudy days, or as a signature scent. I usually wear Cedrat Boise at home so this one can finish quickly, and I save this for going out.

  • It’s not listed in the notes, but to me it smells very strongly of smoke, an unpleasant note that clashes with the rest. Luckily, it lasts only seconds; afterwards, it’s another pleasant Aventus-style scent, though nothing special. For the price, it’s fine, but the sillage is small—it stays in a close bubble. I bought it for 15 euros and use it because it’s versatile, but I won’t buy it again.

  • This is my second bottle of this Al Dur Al Maknoon (batch 09/23), and what surprised me is the drop in performance compared to the first one. It lasts maybe 3-4 hours and has zero projection. I sprayed it for several days and let it macerate for over a month, but it’s still the same. I’m not sure if it’s a batch issue.

  • This is the second bottle of this Al Dur Al Maknoon (batch 09/23), and I was surprised by the drop in performance compared to the first one. It only lasts 3-4 hours and projects nothing. I sprayed it several times and let it macerate for over a month, but it’s still the same. I’m not sure if it’s a batch issue.

  • Good projection and longevity, but it’s unisex leaning more masculine. Don’t recommend if you prefer feminine scents, though the price is excellent.

  • I didn’t like it at all; it smells very smoky, like dumping an ashtray. Over time, that ash smell softens and reminds a bit of Creed, but it doesn’t work for me. I’d say it’s 20% Creed and 80% ash. I bought it at the price as an alternative to CDNI, but it was a mistake. Let it macerate for several months and it’s still the same. Not recommended.

  • I absolutely hated it. Smelled like strong burnt ash, like someone dumped an ashtray. It does soften over time and reminds me 20% of Creed, but it just doesn’t work for me. I bought it for the price to avoid using my CDNI all the time, but it was a mistake. I let it macerate for months and it’s still the same. Not recommended.

Smells amazing. If you like smoky pineapple, sour lime, and that Aventus vibe, this is your bottle. You can get it for 300 Mexican pesos—what a steal!

  • Test with 2 sprays on the arm. 15:30 hrs, 20°C. Strong smoky opening for 10-15 minutes, which changes prominence as the pineapple comes in. After that initial smoky hit, the pineapple and woody notes prevail with the leather. So, coming out of the harsh smoke start, it’s a pleasant fragrance, although perhaps for spring-autumn and cool summers. It lasted 7 hours on skin, projecting moderately-light for the first 2 hours. Price in Chile: $12 for 100ml.

I bought it because they said it was an Aventus clone, and since I loved that scent, I decided to try it. Bad idea. Although it has that Aventus DNA, it smells like it was spilled on a pile of ash. All day long, that smoky smell reached me and seemed very unpleasant. If you’re looking for something in the Aventus line, there are better options; I definitely won’t buy it again.

I bought it because I heard it was an Aventus dupe and, liking that scent so much, decided to try it. Bad idea. Although it has that DNA, it smells like it was spilled on a pile of ash. All day long, that smoky smell reached me, which I personally found very unpleasant. If you’re looking for something in the Aventus line, there are better options; I definitely won’t buy it again.

Al Dur Al Maknoon Silver tries to resemble Aventus, but for me, it’s a joke. It smells like ash and cigarettes, with a very smoky aroma that is unpleasant. Also, the longevity is very short and it fades quickly on the skin. Don’t recommend it if you’re looking for something serious or with quality similar to Aventus. Longevity: 2-3 hours. Projection: Low. Ideal season: Autumn (due to its smoky scent). Personal rating: 3/10. Ashy scent and insufficient longevity, a failed attempt.

  • Some of you might remember that smoking indoors used to be allowed. In bars with poor ventilation, the smoke would get trapped. This perfume smells exactly like clothes (especially the upper part) when you come back from there: a mix of cigar smoke and perfume. I don’t recommend it. The ashtray smell doesn’t disappear even in the dry-down. Probably, if it didn’t have that strong smell, it would be a good perfume.

  • Some might remember that years ago smoking in enclosed spaces wasn’t prohibited. When you went to a bar with poor ventilation, the smoke got trapped. This perfume smells exactly like clothes (especially the upper part) when you came back from there or the next day: a mix of cigarette smoke and perfume. I don’t recommend it. The ashtray smell, as other reviews mention, doesn’t disappear even in the dry down. Probably, if it didn’t have that marked smell, it would be a good perfume.

Al Dur Al Maknoon Silver tries to resemble Aventus, but for me, it’s a joke. It smells like ash and cigarettes, with a very smoky aroma that results in being unpleasant. Also, longevity is very short and it fades quickly on the skin. I don’t recommend it if you’re looking for something serious or with quality similar to Aventus. Longevity: 2-3 hours. Projection: low. Ideal season: autumn (due to the smoky aroma). Rating: 3/10 – Ashy scent and insufficient longevity, a failed attempt.

  • Totally unisex. It’s less deep than Aventus, less smoky, and with much lower projection and longevity. You have to pump the trigger well for it to last acceptably, but it performs well. It’s a good scent, but my girlfriend, who tried to steal it, ended up with a huge rash. She’s allergic to nickel and this caused a reaction, meaning it must contain some nickel component or be made with nickel-plated deposits instead of stainless steel.

If you like smoky notes, this is the place. Inspired by Creed Aventus, I feel it like a Club de Nuit with ash and smoke added. The opening is super strong; you notice that smoky note a lot, which loses intensity but I still feel it throughout the dry down. I loved it because it’s a very good alternative if you’re looking for masculine scents with smoke. Longevity: 4-5 hours. Projection: 1 hour, then it becomes a personal bubble. For the price I paid ($20 in Argentina), it seems very good; I’ll let it macerate to see if performance improves.

  • The bottle surprises at first glance: a curious design with a certain air of other recognized inspired perfumes. Upon opening, the opening is clear: smoky and fruity, dominated by a juicy pineapple wrapped in smoke. The sensation is unique, almost like placing a pineapple on a freshly lit grill. In the heart, it stabilizes into a semi-smoked pineapple accord thanks to birch, with sweet and fruity nuances. It’s a reinterpretation of the Creed Aventus DNA, but darker and calmer. Compared to Club de Nuit Intense Man, there’s less harshness here: no that metallic opening, but a more natural and soft smoke. If CNIM is a wild horse, Al Dur Al Maknoon is that same horse tamed. Over time, it loses some of the smoky intensity but maintains the fruity balance. Curiously, it sometimes reminds me of Mancera Cedrat Boise. It’s not an identical clone, but it has that citrus-fruity nuance with a woody base. I paid about $12 and it’s an excellent alternative for those seeking the Aventus DNA with a more pleasant opening. It’s versatile and its smoky character sets it apart from other clones. Don’t be intimidated by the initial hit; let it settle and you’ll discover a very well-executed fragrance for its price.

I just sold this perfume and I think it was the best decision. It’s not horrible, but it just didn’t suit me and reminded me of one of the worst teachers I ever had. It’s an Aventus dupe that smells like an old man smoking all day; that’s its target audience. Longevity is excellent, about 12 hours covering the whole room, which I find is actually a bad thing.

  • I highly recommend letting it air out first; the opening sweetens and becomes less aggressive. Olfactorily, it starts with a very strong ash smell (like barbecue or pipe ash) mixed with pineapple and citrus. Gradually, the smoke fades, leaving a sweet, amber, and woody base. On my skin, it lasts 5 hours. It’s very similar to Milton Lloyd’s Colours Me White, but with a sharper, smokier touch. For the price, it’s a good summer perfume, but if you’re bothered by the smoke or cigarette scent, skip it.

  • Benjamax98

As they say, it’s another Aventus, but from Lattafa: darker and more potent than the CDNI, with a more pronounced wood note that makes it ideal for night in warm but not cool climates. If you’re a fan of the original, you’ll love it. It stands out for its fruity notes, unlike other clones like Avant, which are more smoky and citrusy. Longevity and projection are average: about 6 hours and 2 hours respectively. The opening is rich and improves over time. Totally worth it for the price (I got it for $16).
