  • I received it yesterday, and it’s guava jam, like that hard red sweet from Ecuador. It smells exactly like that: very real, delicious, and potent, but too edible to be a perfume, though I love gourmand scents. Smelling like guava jam… I don’t know. Edit: several days have passed and the scent blended better. The opening is guava with grapefruit, then sweet rose in the dry down, and finally leather without losing the guava. I’m keeping it, it’s addictive, and I can’t stop using it. I think it needs a few days to macerate.

  • Of course the notes don’t work well: it’s a brutal guava with the acidity of a passion fruit. It projects an overdose. It stays linear, but when it dries down it smells like gasoline and it bothers me. I’m going to let it macerate and try it again later; if it doesn’t work, it’s gone 🙁

  • Oh my god, what a perfume. The opening is powerful, loud, and even annoying. The leather is sweet, smelling of very ripe, potent, and pink guava. When the leather dries down, it fades and makes it more wearable. It projects a lot and feels sweet, juicy, and very fruity.

  • Eva_ambrossia

To me, it smells like another repeated caramel from Mancera’s Roses Vanille, but with guava. I wouldn’t buy it unless I wanted to overwhelm others.

  • I was curious about the guava and it arrived today. It smells of ripe guava, but with a strong gasoline note that’s noticeable all the time. I envy anyone who only smells guava, because it would be delicious, but this Awjad is unpleasant from start to finish.

  • MaCa Perfumera

This perfume did not like me. It smells of super sweet guava, then a leather scent kicks in that makes it extravagant. Someone who bought it for me says it smells good, maybe on their skin, but it gives me a headache. No blind buy.

Guava and leather bomb. A risky and different bet, but for me it was a fail. The initial sweet guava gets eclipsed in minutes by a dense, dominant leather that ruins the concept. Dry, it just smells like leather, and I don’t understand Lattafa’s work. If you like guava, it’s not the star here, nor is it a fruity perfume. It has impeccable projection and longevity.

  • I tried it on a tester and loved it: a citrus blend with very energetic sweet guava and up to 6 hours of longevity. When I bought it, applying it felt like wearing a different perfume. At first, ripe guava dominated, but later I sensed an animalic note, perhaps the leather. I didn’t notice it on the tester. I hoped maceration would fix it. Edit: time has passed, and the leather stopped being the protagonist to integrate better with the guava, which is now more mature and pleasant. I’ve loved it on hot days.

A guava and leather bomb. Without a doubt a risky and different bet, but in my case it was a complete fail. Without any doubt, in its first phase it highlights a sweet and realistic guava, which in a matter of minutes is totally eclipsed by a dense and dominant leather that steals the show and which, to my taste, takes the fragrance to a complete olfactory nonsense. My nose, once this fragrance dries down, only finds mostly leather and I stop understanding this work by Lattafa completely. If you like guava, be clear that here it’s not the protagonist and it’s not a fruity perfume. For the rest, it’s a perfume with trail and longevity; so if you like performance, it’s impeccable.

  • Juansonico

Good fragrance, clearly masculine. You can smell the guava and the leather. It has great longevity and is quite addictive.

Appearances in perfumery are deceptive, right? The prejudice of reading notes or seeing the bottle color conditions us. This Lattafa Awjad Pink (from now on, Awjad Pink) became popular for resembling the famous Oud Maracuyá, which I also own. The answer is yes and no. It’s inspired by the Crivelli, but they aren’t the same and the resemblance isn’t close; just as Pepsi doesn’t equal Coca-Cola or Kilian’s Angel’s Share will never have the quality of Hermès’ Ambre Narguilé. The breakdown is fruity and entertaining: the guava in the opening is well done, with that reddish sweetness like strawberries and an aquatic sensation like water pear. Added to the citrus acidity of the passion fruit and pink pepper, it gives a cheerful and lively opening. But for fruit lovers, here’s where things get tricky for the bold. We skip the floral part where the magnolia enlivens the transition between bright fruits and darkness, and suddenly we’re hit with raw, combustible, and cold leather. It’s leather heading for tar, with touches of violet leaf, eraser, or rubber, like the leathers in Philipp Plein No Limits, only that in Awjad Pink the joy of the guava is perceived from almost the beginning to the end in the dry down, softer but not lost. It’s a tasty development, though somewhat flat, very similar to the perfume it’s compared to, but with the difference that the other has lots of saffron, dirtier and greasier leather supported by cistus and osmanthus, plus the synthetic oud touch that makes it rougher. Awjad Pink, within its darkness, is kinder: it welcomes us with a different fruit, juicier, sweeter, and less acidic, though when it dries down they resemble each other more without being identical. Those with doubts about Oud Maracuyá, this is a good approach, NOT THE SAME, but they are similar proposals with good performance and different from the usual. Yes, you need character to wear it: the bottle is pink and colorful, but this is nothing like flowers and cheerful scents.

Appearances in perfumery can be deceiving, right? Prejudice based on notes or bottle color conditions us. This Lattafa Awjad Pink is popular for resembling the famous Oud Maracuja, and the answer is yes and no. It’s inspired by Crivelli’s, but they aren’t the same: just as Pepsi doesn’t equal Coca-Cola, this lacks the quality of Ambre Narguilé. The opening is a fruity accord with sweet guava, strawberry, and an aquatic pear water sensation, plus the acidity of passion fruit and pink pepper: cheerful and lively. But for the bold, after the magnolia flower, comes raw, combustible, cold leather with notes of tar, violet, and eraser. The guava’s joy lingers in the base, softer but present. The development is tasty though flat, similar to the original but with less saffron and greasy leather. It’s kinder, juicier, and sweeter, though they converge in the dry down. If you want to try Oud Maracuja, this is a good approximation, NOT THE SAME, but with great performance. It requires character: the bottle is pink and colorful, but it doesn’t smell like flowers.

  • I love it! It’s a zesty, acidic guava that stays with you from start to finish, revealing a petroleum-like leather that’s a bit dirty but not difficult. Juicy, full of personality, with a dark base. 9/10.

  • Pobrecabrachica

I initially unboxed it due to too much rose, but over time the guava and passion fruit took over. I bought a decant and was blown away: the Arab market shouldn’t be judged by the bottle. It’s youthful euphoria, like 15-year-old summers, but with a dark touch of leather and pepper that adds depth. A total hit.

  • It opens with an intense explosion of mango, passion fruit, and sweet guava, very sweet, cheerful, and effervescent. They claim lychee, and yes, you can clearly feel it a few minutes later, plus pink pepper very deep in the background. The fruits give an aquatic sensation, like biting into a ripe pear, slightly astringent on the palate but juicy and delicious. It smells perfect in all its fruity notes, cheerful and sparkling at 50 cm or more. Roses and peonies emerge… and a very soft leather, barely perceptible but there, like the bottom of a good used bag that holds our essence. A citrus note is perceived, making it very refreshing (they claim pink grapefruit, it could also be blood orange). The perfume shines in all its glory about 30 cm from where I applied it. Half an hour later, the initial intensity drops (which is never overwhelming or heavy), and the roses and sweet fruit remain; now I notice the vanilla, and the citrus stays. Four hours later, it’s still perceptible at 30 cm, in all its complexity, but the leather has softened and is only detectable at skin level. I think it’s totally feminine, very youthful (not teenage, but youthful) with a lot of personality and wearable. A true hit.

I see ‘French Leather’ by Memo Paris listed in the comparisons, one of my favorites from the brand. Does anyone know if they’re similar? Or is there any Arabic fragrance or dupe that comes close to Memo’s? Feel free to DM me, I’d appreciate it.

  • naso_en_ciernes

Fruity floral with a suede base, almost lost under the other notes. More unisex, leaning feminine rather than masculine. I don’t know any comparisons, but it’s an accessible and affordable perfume, nothing premium. To me, for several minutes, it smells alcoholic. It’s okay, not a must-have, but I think it becomes worth it as it dries down. Is it original? I don’t think so; it’s a vibe that doesn’t turn my head and is quite ‘modern,’ nothing Arabic, something I could find in other current brands. Performance is correct but doesn’t stand out. I keep insisting: I’ve smelled Lattafa’s best hits and have them in my collection, from old releases like Adeeb, Raghba Wood Intense, Oud for Glory, etc. The house seems to have focused on covering more Western-style scents, but that doesn’t mean they’re all collectible, neither for aroma nor performance.

  • I’ve never spoken badly of a fragrance, but this one worries me. It smells chemical, almost like gasoline, with an artificial note that breeds distrust and prevents you from enjoying its fruity-tropical opening. If you can survive the chemical assault, you eventually reach a fruity and balsamic vanilla base after the petroleum atrocity. It could be an attempt to recreate skin, not leather, but skin… what is it? Edit: It smells like shoe cleaner, a car supply store, rubber, and boot cleaner for stubborn stains. I wouldn’t even recommend it as a room freshener. It doesn’t smell like skin; it smells like the chemicals used to clean it. I don’t even like it in a car; it smells toxic. The only good thing is that the box is beautiful and the bottle looks nice.

  • I’ve never left a review or anything, but this one deserved it for being bad. At first it opens with guava and lychee in a very juicy way, extremely rich, but quickly a very synthetic smell comes out, like poorly made leather. It gave me a migraine. I don’t recommend it at all. It was on my favorites list, but the truth is it disappointed me quite a bit.

Smells like hair bleached with peroxide. I don’t know if my nose is damaged, but it’s a smell I can’t enjoy in any way.

  • Zepol_4403*

The scent is terrible, very linear and intense on guava. I wouldn’t recommend it unless you want to smell like rotting guava all day.

  • Soreen_cl

For those claiming this is an Oud Maracujá or Azzure Aoud alike: check your olfactory system. It’s lightyears away from Oud Maracujá and nowhere near being a dupe for Azzure, which is actually the best. It smells like plastic and rot; it doesn’t even have that animalic oud touch. It’s a total disaster and a shame on the Lattafa catalog. If you’re looking for something like OM, go straight for FA Azzure Aoud and forget this. Don’t waste even $20 on Pink to Pink.

  • anamaestracorreo

It smells terrible. One of the worst in the perfume world. There’s no way to take it, for real. Luckily I tested it in a physical Arab perfume store.

  • anamaestracorreo

Smells awful; it’s the worst thing I’ve ever tried at a perfume store. There isn’t even a single decent note to start with. Luckily, I tested it at a physical Arabic perfume shop and got away with it.

I’ve only read bad reviews, maybe I have bad taste, but for me it was love at first sniff. The opening is pure juicy fruit, lychee and guava very present. Then a fresh, subtle rose appears, disappears, and leather comes out, somewhat sharp. When it joins the guava that remains, it can smell synthetic and sharp. I don’t recommend buying it blind; I think you either love it or hate it. The trail is wide and the scent is very strong; although it’s juicy fruit, I find it dizzying. I don’t perceive passion fruit, guava feels very strong, like a guava pie, and then the leather appears. The truth is I liked it a lot, very feminine and different.

  • I must say this fragrance is special, if not rare. The first time I smelled it was because I had bought Ajwad (the red one) for my wife and decided to try its variant. It kicked me in the face: ”What the f*** is this?” I found the smell very strange, even bad. I’d translate it as a mix of guava and the burnt rubber smell a bus leaves when braking hard. But I have to confess it’s a scent I couldn’t forget, that one where you don’t know if it’s good or bad but it stays with you. I thought about it so much that every time I passed the store I smelled it again, about 5 times, until I finally bought it (max $20). Basically it’s guava, leather, and incense. I wear it with Hayaati Gold Elixir, several sprays of Hayaati, and just one of Pink to Pink, and it’s brutal. I love it. It’s a particular, strong scent, clearly not for everyone. It lasts a lot for me, it’s one of the few I constantly smell. Projects 2-3 hours and about 8 hours of longevity in my case.

  • I must say this fragrance is special, to say the least, rare… The first time I smelled it was because I had bought Ajwad (the red one) for my wife and decided to try its variant. It kicked me in the face and I said: “What the hell is this?”. I found the smell very strange, even bad. I’d translate it as a mix of guava and the burnt rubber smell a bus leaves when braking hard. But I have to confess it’s a smell I couldn’t forget, that one you don’t know if it’s good or bad but once you’ve encountered it, it stays; I couldn’t stop thinking about it. So much so that every time I passed by the store I smelled it again, at least 5 times, until I finally bought it (max 20 dollars). Without going into details, it’s basically guava, leather, and incense. I use it with Hayaati Gold Elixir: several sprays of Hayaati and just one of Pink to Pink, and it’s brutal, I love it. It’s a particular smell, strong, clearly not everyone’s taste. It lasts a lot for me, it’s one of the few perfumes I constantly feel. It projects 2-3 feet and about 8 hours of longevity in my case.

  • I don’t understand the bad reviews. To me, it doesn’t smell like plastic, gasoline, burnt, or rotten; and when I wear it, no one tells me it smells like that. Since the bad reviews are the most recent, maybe the latest batches have something unpleasant or they just need to settle. I bought mine in 2024 and it’s very pleasant. It’s a slightly green tropical fruit scent with soft flowers. It feels cheerful, youthful, summery, not invasive or cloying, with excellent longevity. For me, it was a success. Maybe over time the unpleasantness of some batches will correct itself.

  • This perfume brings back memories: a fragrance with realistic guava and sugary touches. I live near a candy factory, and this is the smell of cooking the famous guava jam. It’s a particular aroma, not for everyone. In my opinion, it’s more feminine because it tends to be floral, but don’t buy it blindly. Despite sharing that deep, long-lasting base with its sister Ajwaad Classic, this variation doesn’t smell that similar.

  • hectorolguin

It’s a fairly peculiar and unique scent: sweet, fruity type with a more bitter base. At first, it might smell bad or unpleasant, but over time it turns into something different from any other. It might not be everyone’s taste. For sure, it’s one of those perfumes where everyone will ask you what you’re wearing, for better or worse.

  • Just got to know it (and accidentally broke the tester 😭, the store is going to smell like this for weeks…). The leather is exactly like Gucci Guilty Absolu: smells like a tannery, plasticky, almost artificial. I love it! It has a tropical sour-acidic counterpoint, like fresh passion fruit juice, a very peculiar combination. I love smelling this, even though I’m not sure if I’ll wear it or when. Next time I’ll test it on skin to see if it changes with heat. So far, I don’t perceive the florals… Maybe because the tester fell before I could spray it on the cardboard and I had to soak it on the floor. Literally soaked, it’s super strong. I think I’ll feel the base notes and development tomorrow.

  • Apparently, it doesn’t smell like goat to anyone else. To me, it’s pure goat. Disgusting. I sold it.

  • Uncommon. The opening is super sharp with lots of guava. The grapefruit takes away the sweetness, leaving a very bitter guava that lingers. There’s a fairly artificial leather note, almost like new shoes. As it dries down, the guava blends with floral and base notes. In the end, you get roses, vanilla, musk, and something else. I don’t detect any pepper at all. Lasts 8 hours on skin (batch 2024) and over 24 on clothes. It’s complicated: if you don’t like bitter, dry, and creamy scents, this isn’t for you. Unisex leaning masculine at first, more feminine later. Performs a bit weak in the cold. To me, it smells like topical dermatological creams (like Macril if you’re from Argentina). Rich, but don’t buy it blindly. Not recommended as a first perfume, better for people who want to try new things.

  • Smells absolutely delicious, though I admit it’s not for everyone. At first, it seemed weird, but now it’s addictive. It reminds me of the vibe of a hotel in Riviera Maya: tropical yet elegant. The bitter grapefruit note dominates, giving it a *fancy* and unisex touch; it doesn’t feel feminine because of that bitterness. I love it, I’m out of the bottle, and I’m already buying another. It’s nostalgic and rich, smells like the high-end version of Rosas Bold hehe. Plus, I loved the packaging: the bottle is metallic, the cap is huge, and it looks extravagant.
