Art Of Nature I by Lattafa Perfumes is an oriental floral fragrance for men and women. This creation, launched in 2024, features an olfactory pyramid where the top notes are fig, plum, and black currant; the heart reveals leather, rhubarb, and rose; and the base settles on oud wood, ambergris, and vanilla.

A curious twist from Lattafa with Oud Maracujá by Maison Crivelli. The box is cardboard with a plastic case that looks like copper, and the bottle is snugly fitted. It’s rectangular with a narrow base that makes it unstable, but it has that raised camel that makes it unique. The cap is metal, heavy, and plastic on the inside, holding just enough. Oud Maracujá should actually be called Leather Maracujá, because the leather and fruit are what stand out the most, and the oud is just in the background. Here, Lattafa’s Art of Nature 1 balances the woody with the fruity so the leather doesn’t dominate. Although they don’t list passionfruit, it’s there, accompanied by plum that adds sweetness and softens the acidity. Just like the original, the oud sits in the background providing support. I just received it, so I hope the rest and maceration will do the magic and improve its performance. So far, 7 hours of longevity and good projection at the start—a good beginning. Lasts all day on clothes. Totally unisex and, for me, the most and best-balanced of the Oud Maracujá clones I’ve tried.
An interesting twist from Lattafa with Oud Maracujá by Maison Crivelli. The presentation is well-cared-for: cardboard box, copper-style plastic case, and the bottle is tightly fitted. The bottle is rectangular with a narrow base that makes it unstable, but it has that raised camel that makes it original. The cap is metal, heavy, and plastic on the inside, holding just enough. I think Oud Maracujá should be called Leather Maracujá, because the leather and fruit are the main notes, and the oud is just a supporting actor. In Art of Nature 1, Lattafa balances the woody with the fruity so the leather doesn’t take over everything. Although they don’t declare passionfruit, it’s there, well accompanied by plum that adds sweetness and rounds out the acidity. Just like the original, the oud sits in the background providing support. I just received it, so I hope the rest after the miles and maceration will do the miracle and improve its performance. So far, 7 hours of longevity and good projection at the start—a good beginning. Lasts all day on clothes. Totally unisex and, for me, the most and best-balanced of the Oud Maracujá clones I’ve tried.
It’s been open for a day, and its scent is very close to Afnan’s Supremacy Incense, which is a dupe of Amouage’s Interlude. It’s a potent, penetrating, and uncommon fragrance—not for every nose, but it’s very well done. I’ll give it time to macerate to see how much it evolves toward the passionfruit scent it should have, since theoretically it’s a dupe of Oud Maracujá.
I wore it open for a day, and it smells very much like Afnan’s Supremacy Incense, which is a clone of Amouage’s Interlude. It’s potent, penetrating, and uncommon. It’s not for every palate, but it’s very well done. I’ll let it macerate to see how it evolves toward that passionfruit touch it should have, since theoretically it’s a clone of Oud Maracujá.
It’s a pity I haven’t tried Crivelli’s Oud Maracujá to compare, but this fragrance in itself is a gem with an oud-leather-fruity profile. The fruity note doesn’t smell like figs or plums; it’s tropical and very strong at first. As it dries down, it gives way to the leather and oud. This leather isn’t like Tom Ford’s Ombre Leather, but more akin to Viktor&Rolf’s Spicebomb Dark Leather: soft and very pleasant. The oud isn’t like Initio’s Ombre Leather either; it reminds me of Alhambra Oud by Ramón Monegal. The result is an original Lattafa masterpiece, well-executed and striking for its quality and unusual scent. The presentation and longevity are top-notch, and the value is incredible. I enjoy it and recommend it, but I say try it before buying because it’s very original with a rare profile. Beyond the hype on social media and reviewers, testing it first is the most sensible move.
