According to the review, this new flanker of Agua Loewe is musky, floral, and woody due to the sandalwood. However, I feel that mandarin and blackcurrant dominate, making it more fruity with sweet, slightly alcoholic notes. After an hour, the freshness and delicacy of jasmine and valley lily emerge. Given this, it’s less unisex and more hybridly feminine—perfect for summer nights.
Pleasant pear freshness with the creaminess of sandalwood—great for starting the day, brings a good vibe, and has excellent longevity, which is typical of Loewe as the brand grows. I suspect it might be a limited-edition version, so I rushed to buy it. They list it as unisex, probably because of the vetiver, but it’s more of a summer breeze for any woman. I let it dry between objects, and it still smells amazing; I really like it.
I tried it on a friend and then remembered something… After checking my perfumes at home, I realized it’s very similar to Cannon Argentina’s Nuit 3 (lily of the valley, freesia, bergamot, passion fruit, amber, and cedar). The Loewe smells like unripe gooseberries and non-sweet pear, with a vetiver base. The sandalwood comes through nicely at the end. It lasts forever and is a great price here. A perfumer friend told me it’s cheap because Loewe is made by FACS—the house behind Givenchy, Dior, Kenzo, Guerlain, and Loewe—and it’s the line without heavy advertising. I’m not usually a fan of fruity or tropical scents, but this has an aquatic touch I absolutely love. That said, I think the Cannon is more pleasant; I find the Loewe a bit bitter and it just doesn’t work for me.
Intensely floral and woody. Perfect for summer nights. It’s fresh and delicate, evoking a sense of safety and well-being. Pairs beautifully with light clothing, reminding me of white flowers.
Fresh, citrusy, and generic. Nothing special and not worth the price; it smells like a drugstore cologne.
Does anyone know if they’ve restocked this in the new Loewe collection? I’m obsessed and can’t find it anywhere.
